I too am a customer of Aarons sales and Lease. We quit going through Rent A Center because Aarons was SUPPOSED to be better. In the beginning it was....when we first opened our account with them over a year ago, we asked if our paydays would be okay to make payments. See we get paid every other friday not the 1rst and the 15th. So before we signed any agreement, they said our payment arrangements would be fine. Anyway a new accounts manager took over and didnt want to stick to the agreement we made a year ago. They started charging us major late fees, even though we faxed them our pay cycles and told them about the agreement. They continued to charge us late fees, it wasnt until we asked to speak to the regional manager, did they volunteer to give us an extension and wipe all late fees out. Well we have until the first of the month according to the extension, but they have been calling here since the 27th asking for their payment. We are trying hard to just pay our stuff off, instead of going through this harassment. It is getting too stressful. So I can sympathize with you. Good luck!!!

Hello I used to work for Arrons and If I where you I would suggest not never use a debit card or automatic debit or credit card with Arrons, At Arrons the store I used to work at use to charge peoples credit cards and debit cards, post dated checks before the consumer consent to do so when it came to making monthly and semi monthly payments. which is against the law. their scheduling is horrible, where they usually tell a customer after 2 which usually wind up receiving your merchandise at 5pm or not at all. they have horrible maintenance issues, while working at the store i worked for there where months before someone would get their new ordered item, maintenance on a current item or even customer requested returned item. Their policy is to refuse to give anyone their money back all because each month the CAM(assistanat manager/ Collections manager) and Mt or Manager trainee who handles the accounts & Sales Manager have certain budgets to hit at the end of the month. For example 1 month it may be $98,000 the next $103,000 and if the cam and Mt doesn't hit the company financial goal their remining amount is carried over to the next month.I quit Arrons & Rent A center all because of their deceptive practices & promotion practices. Also be careful of theeverything is new sales pitch, which is not, they have a certification zone where when a merchandise is repo or returned the Product technician, MT, CAm have to clean the product up so that it will look new and then place the item back on the sales floor. Don't fall for the 90 days same as cash or 120 days same as cash scheme either. the product still is higher within this time period than the normal price also if you do not pay it off within that time period you pay extra most of the times twice as much as the 90-120 days same as cash promo price.AArons, Rent Acenter and other rent to own companies are all rip off's you would be better off saving your money and going to buy it outright. Also they have what is called tent sales, of used worn out junk where they place high cash prices on, most of the Big screens do not work, are cannot be programmed w/o remote, Computers have no power wires & cannot boot, worn out couches that are roach infested and they do not want to keep in the store, grandfather clocks that need tuning, a whole bunch of junk they put out a these sales. Also the company owner has a place called the plantation where every year the top Managers can go and have a week off . As a Black person I feel this is a slap in my face to work for a company that has a managers retreat called the plantation. well I hope I been helpful thanks sincerely Donnie ,IL
