Well, when i moved to Savannah GA i needed a bedroom set, a couch and a TV. Me and my fioncee decided to go to Aarons because our apartment complex had a coupon for 50% off first months rent. We went... and picked everything out. When it came time to pay they said we can only take 50% off of one item. But, the coupon said 50% off the first MONTHS rent.... Very vague! My fioncee was livid and told the manager that she was not paying 400 dollers to have everything when the coupon was deceptive! Me and my fioncee went outside to smoke and the manager then came out and said, i will take off 50% of the whole bill becuase i know what its like to move. That was a godsent... Or so we thought......

We got the furniture the day after (after they promised us the next day delivery she called and asked where they were and they said they werent delievering it until weds....but she got them to come that day) We paid for the furiture May19 ,2008... Got the items May 20, 2008. Then we got a phone call 3 days ago. As soon as i answered the phone the man on the other line was "hey man when u ganna come and see me?" It was aarons.

They said that i owed them 200 bucks on the 1st and that i was late. They said that we never paid the delivery charges. Thats funny..... The items were delivered! Our lease STATES that we pay on the 15th. They said their lease doesnt show that. They said now they need to speak to there regional manager about the situation.

I still get thse automated recordings saying please call your local aarons.

This is getting to out of hand and im about to go to JAG. I just got back from Iraq and i dont need this crap over my head.

They seem to only want money.. you never hear from them UNLESS your "late" on your payment....

We told them that were not paying the "late" monies and if that was a problem they can come pick up the furniture... They havent. We will stay true to the lease I signed. I will NOT be f***ed around!

It has been sing 6/2008 since i reported.  Well... Me and my ex wife had moved to NY shortly after the situation.  We called Aarons to p/up the furniture and they claimed for a year that we had stolen it.  I dont think so.  They called us 10 times a day at least harrassing us stating that the cops had come by our old apt and couldnt find us and then we called the old apt complex and they said no cops were there.... well helllooo its a gated community idiots!!! Needless to say they tried that s**t.  So the person who said that it was resolved... it was never resolved... i wouldnt b suprised if they are still saying i 'stole" their crappy a*s furniture!

Store level personel usually do not have the clearance in the computer to input free time, coupons, etc. So, they have to wait for some regional staff to make it around to the store to adjust the account. In the meantime the people working the phones have your new account pop up as being due, so you start getting phone calls.
