first I have been a loyal and "paid on time customer" of this particular  Aaron's for at least 10 yrs. I feel they , the customer reps, are trained to be courteous and forthright  and have been up to this point! b but this group of new associates are unprofessional ,in that, they will use, bullying tactics and will not resolve a issue, but rather add fuel to the fire. We are purchasing a 47' inch flat screen television since Feb 2011, I have 2  payments left ,on a 24 month lease contract  which by the way i have paid over 3,000 dollars on  this contract, but the real issue arise when the television had to be repaired by one of Aaron's own t.v. repair person because the television started doing things like turning off by itself, than it would get turned off and  it would come back on by itself. so , the television had to have the circuit board replaced, Was told the original circuit board was defected, when this all occur,we had the television for only 5-6 months.

We, my husband and myself  found it strange a brand new television, delivered to us in a box ,turns out to be defective. so we spoke to associates at the store about the warranties plus could they just replace it and give us a new television well ,one male associate his name was phil told us he would get back to us and see about doing just that, and he never got back to us , it just became a cat and mouse situation, leaving us feeling like we are now paying on a t.v. that could possibly be a problem, in the very near future, and culminated with the reality that we have been responsible and loyal customers to this Aaron's since 2002 even giving them business, sending people to them we just  never had a problem in the past, If we had a issue, it would get taken care of with no disrespect or feelings of being taking for a fool.

All in all we just wanted to be treated with respect and the last two payments will be paid by me but my husband does not want anything to do with these associates who are portraying themselves as the mob or thugs because, he too can be agitated by this kind of behavior . I am the one dealing with the store  sales associates or supervisors and this guy name "conrad" who can be condescending and rude also he is new to the store does not even know the situation, plus he does not know me and having to deal with him is frustrating and beneath me!

You talk about them sending a driver to confiscate the merchandise, even after you made arrangements to pay off the balance in the title of your report.  But you spend 2/3 of your report talking about your history with them and how good of a customer you have been, and the other 1/3 talking about a defective TV that they repaired.  Yet nothing about any drivers being sent or any arrangements being made.

The other confusing part is that you said you got the TV in Feb 2011, and it needed repairs after 5-6 months.  So since it is now Feb 2013(about 18 months after the repair), why are you having this "concern" all of the sudden?    Or is that just a "smoke screen" and an excuse you think you can con them into giving you a totally new TV now?

Oh and as for it being "strange" to have a defective TV.  Your right in the entire history of the world there has NEVER been a defective TV from the factory.  In fact it is so rare that they probably had to pay off someone at the manufacturer to put in a defective part just so that you would have this issue.
