Aarons Sales and Leasing Unfair sales and leasign practices Perth Amboy, New Jersey
Unfair leasing practice at store c-1051 in Perth Amboy, NJ. My contract clearly states my monthly payments are due on the 15th of the month which I've been paying on time for months.I'm getting daily phone calls stating my payments are due on the 1st of the month. I was told the reason for this change in due date is because I've been paying more than my monthly payment which throws the computer system off balance. I've was also told that if I want to pay more than my monthly payment, I'd have to call the store and they would let me know how much more to pay. There is something unethical going on and I want this investigated.Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

I have many issues with aarons but one of them is the same as yours. We got a samsung washer and dryer for $171 per month. If we did the same as cash, it was $2000 cheaper so we paid $150 per week to make that deadline. We didnt make the deadline but we had paid up enough so we wouldnt have to pay for several months if we couldnt make the payment.
About 3 weeks before our payments were due again, which was due on the 15th of evey month, they were calling us on the 1st saying we were late. We werent even due until 15 days later. We also paid 43 months on 14 month agreements. They have suckered us out of $16,000 since 2009. Good lick to you and never go back to them. They are no good.
