I have been a bonafide customer of Aarons for a long time and one of the items I rented from them, a DVD Phillips Recorder was given to this store for repairs over 3 months ago and I have yet to receive it back even though I have contacted the store and spoken to every rep in the store about the return of my equipment that I have paid off since without having it at home. The store also promised to repair the plug part on the back of my 52 Inch RCA Tv and they have yet to pick up the equipment and yet I have to keep making payments on it. I am getting the runaround but when I fail to make payments because of their ineptness they make court treats and/or repossession of the equipment.

Ramon almost every RTO company jumped at the chance to buy up as many of the things as possible when they were introduced. Almost every single Philips DVD-R that I have have dealt with in the last couple of years has been to service several times for failure. Philips wants a fortune to repair these units (usually 1 1/2 times the original cost). Therefore most vendors have removed these items and most stores have junked them. It will be nearly impossible to get their hands on one. Have you requested they transfer that money onto another item in the store? If you are a great customer, usally they will try to do as much as possible to retain your business. RCA tvs are famous for their RF adapter to break off. A slight tug on the cable and its over. As for the tv I would suggest you ask them to switch it out with another one (trust me they have plenty to do this with). Set up a time, date, and who will be coming. This is generally the perfect way to ensure someone is coming. Getting the name of driver(s) who is coming holds someone accountable. Good Luck I hope it works out.

I talked again with Aaron's new Manager. We agreed that if I bring my accounts up to date everything will be alright and we can start all over again since they have now new management. I did so and they worked it out (they say) where I don't have to pay anything for the month of July 2006 and start on 8/2006 with payments and they will look into my lost DVD-R. It was found but not worth fixing and they will find me a replacement. or so they said. I am still waiting and waiting and waiting, I have called numerous times, it's been difficult for them because they don't (Bull) make Philips DVD-R anymore. I can't believe that and I ready to go to Small Claims court to get my money bag.
