ABC Warehouse Bait and Switch Warren Michigan
My husband and I went into 5 different store locations to purchase a new washer and dryer. The ones that were in the add back in October of 2014. Once we got to one store we were told that they never had them in stock. there were none in the warehouse and they had been on back order for 6 months. Then we were shwon different models but were told they could not come close to price matching the ones in the ad. They could not even guarantee that they would ever get them in stock. But, if we wanted to pay for them up front and wait for God knows how long for them to come in they would be happy to sell them to us for the price in the ad. We left the store and went to another ABC to see if maybe they had a set. Again, we were told they were on back order from the warehouse. We asked if we could purchase the floor models and were told that they had to at least keep the ad models on the floor for others that possibly come in the buy the models in the paper.
I had gone ahead the next day and called 4 other ABC's to see if they could locate a set and was told that none in the state of Michigan were showing that they had any. Finally we gave up and bought our appliances from a different retailer
