I called looking for some weight loss products that might be helpful to my daughter. I was reading about Garcinia Cambogia and decided to do a trial of that. While checking out, I was encouraged to boost the performance of the Cambogia by adding the mango cleanse product (4.99 trial) to the order. PRINT EXACTLY WHAT YOU ORDER AND READ THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS BEFORE YOU ORDER!!! I would advise printing out the terms and conditions, because different places have different terms. IT IS NOT A TRIAL. IT IS PURCHASING A PRODUCT FOR ABOUT 80.00 A BOTTLE.
I remembered and printed out that I had to cancel within 14 days or I would be charged. Because I was unable to get the product to my daughter in time, I needed to cancel, which I did with the Garcinia, no problem. BUT when I went to cancel the mango cleanse, I ended up in a voicemail loop that said I had to return the product in 14 days or I would be charge about $80, or I could simply pay $40 and keep the product. No choice to simply cancel, so I STUPIDLY chose the option to return the product. (or be charged $80). AFter thinking about it, and reading what I had printed when I ordered I called to dispute my need to return the TRIAL product and was told that I had to or I would be charged.
I said I called to cancel within 14 days and should not have to return the product, nothing in order suggested I had to. The representative told me to go to a website (not by the way where I ordered the product) and read the terms and conditions, which I did and nothing was said in the terms about me having to return the bottle in order to not be charged further. She said "do you think you get to keep the bottle for just $5.00?" I said yes I do, it was a trial!!! She said a trial means you get to try it out, but you must return it if you do not want to be charged. I insisted on speaking to her manager. She resisted and I told her that I was an attorney (I am) and that if her company dared to charge my card they would regret it and I demanded to speak to her supervisor.
After speaking with him, (he tried to refer me to the terms and conditions, which I told him I had read and had printed and there was nothing in it that said I had to return the bottle or be charged. I asked him where he was reading from that I had to pay to return the "Trial" bottle and he said he did not have time to deal with me and that I would not be charged further, he would cancel my order. We shall see, I will dispute the charge and will NOT pay. I would urge you to avoid this company like the plague. They are not interested in helping you, just interested in getting your card number to charge you. When you get the product, there are no instructions and no phone number. SO DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY IN SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA. They are not honest, or forthright and will not help you.
