Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

This is what happened with my situation - take what I say and use it to help make a decision - not change your way of thinking. I signed up and paid the 100.00 and waited for over a week to receive a phone call or any communication concerning the next step. I called over a week later and explained the situation and the receptionist said it would be taken care of. So I waited four more days and still nothing, so I called again and an email was sent with an order number that I was to click to receive the phone number to schedule a visit. I called Dr. Dubey's office in Endicott, NY and talked directly to the doctor to schedule the visit. He said did I have any records and I said no. He said ok and scheduled me a visit. There is more to the story but to save time this is the gist of the negative experience

1. waited over an hour to see the doctor

2. to measure my height he used a tape measure

3. to weigh me we went into the hall into the men's bathroom to find a solid floor to put the scale on "so it would weigh correctly"

4. then he wanted records so we went through a process of trying to get records from a previous doctor - short end my previous doctor said sorry we won't sent them to him - the release form is not legitimate and we cannot verify the email address or phone listed on the form

5. Dr. Dubey then said I had to have and EKG and blood work before he would prescribe me the diet pills - he admitted that he didn't tell me that and that it was not anywhere for me to know that (I had driven 2.5 hours to his office). I would have to go back and schedule those, pay for them, send the reports back to him, and then he would decide if I could been seen. (This is his right as a physician and that is fine BUT you need to tell people that and not wait until they get there - that it is going to cost a lot more than just the visit and the prescription)

6. He said for my time he would prescribe me a month's worth - which he never did. He was filling out the information to sent to the pharmacy but never sent it.

7. the experience was very unorganized, unprofessional (very sketchy), and in my opinion unethical on the part of advertising one thing and then adding more requirements (that were not stated ANYWHERE) AFTER you paid the initial amount and drove a long way.

I am suppose to receive my 100.00 back. But I want to warn you to be very careful when dealing with this particular doctor and the policies of Absolutely Thin.
