DO NOT buy from AC Micro Inc.
It appears to be a one man operation or close to it. He uses dirty tactics to make money.
He sends out used products as though they are new, then charges large restocking fees to make a profit. This man is a major crook and I am surprised that more has not been said here about the company.
I purchased a CPU as new from them. I got a used and defective one. He claimed, falsely, that I was to blame. When I threatened to report him he relented and offered to take it back *IF* I paid a restock fee and traded up on a **LOWER valued cpu for a HIGHER price.
Feeling stuck, I got sucked in, and spent more money. What did I get? Yet another used and BAD, burnt CPU. He refused to work with me and even lied about what he did with my transaction.
He has a terrible reputation and has pulled this stunt with a great many people!
He should be sued, but I am too poor to do it. If I could I would go to Maryland and find this man and beat him up sensless for his dirty tricks to me and countless others.
He is pond scum, no, worse than that.
