Ace Cash Srvices Ace Inc Tried to collect debt on debt I never had.Threatened legal action. Internet
Ace inc sent me an e-mail saying I owed them money for a payday loan and a settlement. The amount was $ 832.63 and they would settle for a payment of 398.00 to settle it or they will take legal action. When I called the number listed, it rang 2 times than went to computerized voice mail. I was freaking out so I left a message stating I wanted them to call me ASAP . I also e-mailed the person listed that sent me the e-mail. A response appeared 2 minutes later. I said we have discussed with accounts department regarding your account and payment mode which will be through Pay Pal My Cash card. Red flags popped up in my head. I was presently going through credit repair and I called the company handling my repair and had them look at my credit report. There was no account on any of the credit bureaus with that company name or amount. I than felt better. So I decided that it was probably a scam.
