Acima Credit Anything affiliated with Acima Group, Acima Corp, Acima Credit 300% interest rate on credit for 90 days same as cash financing
I had some car repairs done through Big O Tires and they had a special for 90 days same as cash FREE with no interest. Simple right? The finance company was supposed to divide the total into three months and draft twice a month. Wrong. So wrong. They take only half out on the first draft at no charge.
You have to create a log in and pay the actual rest of that first payment and they charge $5. If you pay extra, they won't deduct on auto pay so you have to log in, make the payment and an extra $5. So in the end it's an extra $30 to $40 you're paying.
If for any reason you go beyond 90 days they charge you 300% interest (total was $587. With their interest rate you would pay back $2000). This company is used at car dealerships, car repair shops, mattress shops etc... Do literally anything else but use them.
They also sell your phone number. Right after I signed the contract with Big O (which I won't be doing again) I started receiving up to 12 scam calls a day. Yes scams, not advertisements. Scams. Like IRS calling from India and Windows telling me I have a virus. This should be illegal!
