Ackerman Security Systems The sales pitch says that you have a 1 year contract. But the actual contract includes a perpetual renewal of contract 1 year at a time. Beware of this scam. Atlanta, Georgia
The sales pitch says very very clearly that you need to sign only a 1 year contract. But the actual contract includes the following:
B. TERM - the initial term of this agreement shall be for a period of 1 yeas. After the expiration of the initial term, this agreement shall automatically renew for additional terms (of one (1) year each), unless cancelled by written notice at least sixty (60) days prior to expiration date of the then-current term.
Beware of this sneaky way Ackerman locks you in perpetually on a 1 year contract. Paraphrasing Clark Howard "avoid any security monitoring company that locks you in a contract". How does one trust ones home and the safety of loved ones with a company which is so unethical in its practices?
