Active Response Group - YourTopBrands - YourTopBrands.com Gift Card Scam! New York New York
Per the Terms and Conditions spelled out on the website yourtopbrands.com after completing required steps the company will send the user a pre-paid VISA gift card in the amount of US $1,000. Per their website, I have completed all requirements and comply with their terms and conditions to receive the gift card I have qualified for. The terms and conditions explicitly state the gift card will arrive 6-8 weeks after account status has been updated to "Confirmed to be Shipped." It has now been over a year since the gift card was supposed to arrive and I have been advised by their customer support that they are simply too busy to ship out the the due gift cards. In July 2008 I was told that they were shipping the August 2007 gift cards, and in December 2008 I was told the exact same thing.
This is obviously a scam and was possibly some sort of Ponzi Scheme that is and has begun spiraling downward. Do NOT do business with this company as they are completely untrustworthy and do not fulfill what they say they will. I have lost much money holding up my end of the deal to only be let down and out of the money spent.
