It has been years now since Acuity lending ripped me off. So far, for all of my labor, material, and troubles I have never received anything. And I still wonder this:
How can the bank not pay anything for a building and then repossess it making a bundle in real estate and not have to even pay the general contractor for any of the subs. This is simply not right and I think that now the Occupy Portland people may help me to show up at there door. In this case I called everyone I could think of trying to get paid. Remember: My original contract was with a general contractor. This contractor after the work was done to told me that the Bank would be paying me directly. After I called the bank to ask if this was true they told me yes and not to worry, that they would make sure I got paid.
(They never paid the General for my work, ever.) They repossessed this building that was built on the backs of small business with little or no money put out themselves. Then they repossessed the building essentially stealing $800,000.00 street value from the working men and women who built it on their own business credit. As you can see by my original complaint that I was very distraught at the time of writing it. In America, how can it be legal to write off all these hard working people and steal the building with no investment from the bank? I believe their loss was on the earlier projects they were involved it leading up to this. I believe that was a calculated plan to simply not pay anyone and get the building built for free, repossess, and sell it to someone one address away in the same building for cheap as if there was no building on the site. ( I want justice! I want to be paid for my labor and material!)
If the bank, "Acuity lending" would have paid the general for all of our work and then he did not pay us that would be deferent. (The facts as I see them is, no one was paid.) If no one was paid for this building by them, then how do they have right to write us all off and to take the building puting it against other losses on other projects. ( I believe they knew they were not going to pay prior to even starting the building. I believe they built this building as their own cash cow and the government just let them do it. People are now living in this town home and no subs were paid. I bet the people living there paid full price and they have a nice new furnace system, windows, siding, roofing, concrete, doors, electrical, sheet rock, paint, etc, etc, etc. How can this be right? I am now considering joining Occupy Portland and leading a march to the office of Acuity Lending. They should not get this building for free. Thank you, Dan

What is integrity? I believe it is something inside your heart and sole. If what I believe to be true about this company is true. And this company new we all were not paid, and did not pay the Builder on our behalf knowing they were going to foreclose, get these products for free, and write us all off. What type of company would knowingly do this and allow contractors who have not been paid to suffer in such a manner? And why would they allow this if it were in your ability to prevent? Do these contractors not have families? Do they not have suppliers that they have to pay due to the products they provided? It would make since that if you have a project 85% complete and you sell if for cheap, you can sell it more easily. I do understand this. If you paid the General Contractor or the sub contractors for these products that these contractors purchase and installed on this project. It would most likely mean that their (The lenders) buy back price would be higher in reposition, and more accurate. I guess it would make the sale price on a resale marked higher if you actually paid these bills. I can relate to this because I am right now, having to sell everything I own for cheep just to pay my suppliers. That would prove that if you lower the price you could sell things faster! I sold my boat to the first person that looked at it! I had no choice, it was either that or my company would be sent to collections. This boat sold on the deadline date after three or four days on the market. Just think if you do not spend the money that was suppose to go to the suppliers and the workers on the projects how much easier it would be to sell at a break even mark when you are the lender and going to reposes? What would that do to the neighbors house next door when values are calculated? (Or would that issue simply not be discussed?) If you pay the subs what was billed and acquire those cost, it would raise your by back amount and may make it harder to sell in todays market. I believe it would in fact make their cost real and accurate because the subs got paid for their products and services. If you do not pay the builder for these invoices or the subs you are out nothing for these products. This in turn will make it much easier to resell? At least that is my opinion. I believe that integrity is easier kept then regained. Integrity is not something you lose. It is not something that another person takes from you. It is something that you display on your own through your actions. A person who has destroyed their integrity in the eyes of others may choose to blame others for it. Although I believe it is a self-inflicted action. Today I have received nothing except threats of lawsuits over my writings in this forum because some people seem to want to show their true integrity. I will however keep you all informed as to the outcome and perhaps it will prove that they are a company of integrity or perhaps not. In any event we will get to know them much better. I am seeking people who would like to help me picket as early as next week at their office location in Portland Oregon. I will have flyers, signs, and handout to present to all people who pass by as well as the press. Anyone who wants to help on this march please call me at (((ROR REDACTED))) and I will be glad to hear from you. I am told that we should be able to have about 100+ people attending if it comes to picketing. I will be calling the press to insure that they attend. Thank you Dan.
