'YOU hastily bought a used vehicle without so much as reading the paperwork in detail. Then, YOU jumped to false conclusions that the dealer had ripped you off simply because they formatted the data in such a way that the banks would provide the best rate to you (aka, the dealer was trying to save you money!).' Where did the author say the banks were trying to get her a good rate and trying to save her money? That would certainly be a first. Nice try Genius. 'Then you have the audacity to post a false report (again in haste, might I add, as evidenced by your comment about 'time restraints').' What does 'time restraints' have to do with filing a rip off report? 'Clearly the dealer did everything properly.' Where did you come up with that guess? 'Be a responsible consumer and make wiser decisions in the future. Get the facts before spouting off inaccuracies!' Irrelevant. Useless. 'this is not a 'rip off' either since the dealer is covering the cost of the repair.' Where did you come up with that? The dealer hasn't had time to decide if they are going to cover it or not!

Be a responsible consumer and make wiser decisions in the future. Get the facts before spouting off inaccuracies! PS - If you are upset about your car already needing service - next time don't buy a USED vehicle. Alas - this is not a "rip off" either since the dealer is covering the cost of the repair.

Update: Regarding the suspicion of the Dealer Swallowing, on the final paperwork the dealership engineered the financials in a format that apparently "the banks prefer". But they did not explain this, they merely assured that it was the same as discussed, and sent me on my way. However, the Dealer did respond with a new print out of the form that mirrored what we had originally discussed, and the numbers did align, so I must stand corrected on that. However, after a friend concluded the same suspicions that I originally had, his discovery of the poor BBB rating and Victoria's Ripoff report only added weight to the misperception. And there is still the matter that one week post-purchase, I already needed to bring the *Goldcheck Certified" vehicle in for servicing which remains a concern. But the service department seemed well managed and they appeared to make every effort to accommodate me. We'll see what happens there... Bottom Line: While my experience with Acura of Lynnwood fell quite short of my experience with Infinity of Fife three years ago, I will credit the Acura dealer for promptly responding to my concerns. Much of this could have been alleviated had they taken the time to explain their financial maneuvering, rather than scooting me out the door as merely a "Done Deal".
