I signed a contract with these con artists almost a year ago. It has been a constant game of their lies, delays, no shows, and excuses. At this point, the project is about 1/2 finished--and the only reason ANY work at all was done was because after 6 months of waiting with no work being done, I started badgering, yelling, and calling constantly. Be sure of this: They are NEVER going to finish a project. I was told by an employee who has been there for a few years that he has never seen a finished project.
I was delighted when informed by ADE over two weeks ago that their number one con man Itzick Gregore Kohn had resigned "due to health reasons." Yes, prison is never good for a person's health. In reality, he has been charged with 2 felonies in Broward County (with a list of @ 25 charges, including numerous ones for grand theft). He has a court date for 8/6/14, but reportedly has packed up a U-Haul and left the state like a thief in the night in an effort to escape justice. I assume that he will be trying to perpetrate the same fraud upon other unsuspecting customers somewhere out of Florida. He needs to be stopped.
I had hoped that after the scammer Kohn resigned, things would get better. They have not. Apparently, ADE is run by a band of thieves, not just one. I was told by an officer in the Broward Sheriff's Office (BSO) that ADE had a history of the same game of lies and thievery before Kohn ever came onboard. Anthony Di Simone and Tony, the project manager, seem to be of the same caliber--lying thieves who have no integrity, no respect, and no consideration for anyone but themselves and for how much money they can steal from people.
At this point, I do not expect to ever have this project completed by ADE--and I intend to eventually see them in court. I have already made filed a complaint with the city police department and alerted the BSO. My next step is to contact the Department of Business and Professional Regulations and the Attorney General's office to file complaints. I suggest that if you were ripped off by them, too, that you do the same. Let's get these thieves out of the business of stealing.

I just read your report. Since it appears that you still owe them money, please DO NOT give them any more money, no matter how nasty they act. The only way they are ever going to do anything for you is if they think they can get some money from you. This is in essence a Ponzi scheme. They are taking other people's money to pay for the materials for those they ripped off previously.

Sorry to hear you are having problems, I to was 100% ripped off by all of them. they did no work or deliver anything just took my money then demanded 100% upfront payment. it took us 5 years to prepare for this and now we are stuck with no money or product. We to are hard working military family and they could care less. I can only tell you to file all proper paper work. Detetive Scott Stone is the broward county BSO Economic Crime Unit 954-321-4250 and then there is The State Attoney Office at 954-831-7956 not sure how much help they can be but someone has got to keep track of all the customers that have been Ripped Off also try send a copy of your letter to the judges Miami And Broward and ask for Bound on Greg to be revoked (cant hurt to try) I have hired Attorney Richard Hussey in fort lauderdale you might want to contact your own
at least to help file a claim with his insurance. Good luck to you Hopefully justice will come sooner then later on these con men.

I came across ADA Remodeling which is also affiliated with ADE Remodeling and Im sure many more shady businesses, through Home Advisors. I had a guy by the name of Greg come to my house to give me an estimate. He was nice and told me everything I wanted to hear. He insisted they were a professional company and delievered quality and timely work. I can 't tell you enough what a LIE all this was. I hired them for a complete home renovation. They required 50% downpayment which i paid in full. They promissed everything would be done in 2 months. This is where all my problems begin. My guest bathroom shower floors had to be ripped out twice. The workers that showed up at my house would call me while Im working for instructions because they did not know what to do. Many days they would not send workers to my house AT ALL. When I called to ask why, they would say because they didnt show up to work or they were really busy with other projects. The office assistant Liza is a rude, nasty, disgusting person that provides no customer service. She calls with a nasty attitude demanding things. Later on i find out Greg was fired or "resigned due to health issue" Thats another LIE! That's when Tony the project manager took over this scam. Tony claims he's now 50% owner which is a lie because you can find this out online, he nothing but a dirty scam artist. Tony is the most unprofessional, rude, slimly theif that i have ever delt with. He had the nerve to request more money or threatened to pull the workers off my job. Instead of arguing I gave him $3000. A total of 62% of the contract. They are not even 30% done. For the last 2 weeks no one has showed up. He claims that the workers are not showing up to work. I've herd from some of their own workers that they have not been paid in 3 weeks. They are also sent to job sites without even trash bags for demo! When I told Tony I want to speak to the real owner Anthony Di Simone, the GC who shows hes owner and has an active license in the State of Florida, Tony tells me he is only available before 2p. Anthony is not willing to accomodate the needs of his clients to meet after 2p. I truely believe Anthony is in on this scam or he's an elderly man that is also getting robbed right before his eyes. When I kept insisting to meet with the "real' owner, Tony insists hes the owner that I need to only speak to him. In our last conversation, he hung up the phone on me like a true scum bag! I am professional, hardworking, honest woman that works hard for every dollar I earn. I have never been so insulted by anyone before. It boils my blood that these animals are out on the street robbing honest people of their money. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE THIEVES! They should all be thrown in jail starting TONY!
