Adelphia Cable ripoff Bait and switch Lied to False promotion Hilton Head South Carolina
Adelphia cable sent me a flier that states" Preferred High Speed Internet, Every Day Low Price For Only $27.99 per month." One of their reps said she doesn't know anything about it. She then finds the flyer in her stack of faxes.
She said to sign up for their $24.99 a month promotion and she will adjust my bill when she finds the other code, before the promotional period is up. The promotional period ends and i get a bill for about $50. I call and I'm told that Kelli doesn't work there anymore, she went to another office.
Now I'm dealing with the office manager. She has no knowledge of the situation. She tells me she will get the right promotional code from fellow managers at the Heritage of Golf tournement. Two weeks later she tells one of her employees to call me and tell me that it was 1) a promotional period. 2) It is part of a cable upgrade 3) its not available in my area.
It doesn't say promotional, its not part of a package, and it was sent to me at my address. Who else on Hilton Head Island got a flier like this? Let me know
