the competition is so bad at SEO they have no hopes of ever outperforming us. So they post all these fake reviews and fake experiences that have no basis in reality.

They can't prove themselves on the search engines, so they have settled on relying on false smear tactics to scare away potential clients. Not one single shred of verifiable evidence in this entire thread of a single real customer experience. AdInfusion is the real deal. If we were so terrible we wouldn't rank #1 for Sacramento SEO.

Every piece of information I am going to post is PUBLIC information. We spoke with this guy last year, and we always do a very comprehensive background check on people we spend a large amount of money with. What he explained to us about himself and what we found out about him was screaming red flags to us, and should be a large concern to anyone who plans to do business with him so our answer was absolutely no way we're doing business with this guy. The problem is that he charges tens of thousands of dollars per year, but his reputation with ethics is WAY beyond questionable.

He had a big federal case in regards to a white collar crime. See 2:13-cr-00061-CKD. His Mercedes was forfeited by the Federal Government as a result of this criminal case to help pay "restitution" to his victims.

In the second document, it mentions that he brings up his "hardship" reasons to keep his car stating that it is needed to run his "internet business", etc.

Case number is 2:13-cr-00061-CKD. Full name is Matthew Sean Roberts. Date of Birth is 1/2/1986 (again, ALL public information).

I won't give out any more information as it isn't immediately accessable to the public, but it CAN BE FOUND using Government sources (AKA you do the work to find the any Xref criminal case number (Hint: DUI) and the rest of his info (DL number, previous, etc) can be found. His past includes lots of things that would bring his character into question:

• Driving on suspended license
• Reckless driving
• Unregistered vehicle
• MULTIPLE failures to appears, resulting in multiple "detention orders" (AKA arrest warrants) etc. This also includes some failures to appear for his FEDERAL CASE.
• DUI while ON PROBATION (there's a probation violation in his federal case)
• Unlawful detainer (AKA he was renting, didn't pay rent, and landlord sued to get him out).
• Company lawsuits under the name ADINFUSION, or AD INFUSION...and LARGE lawsuits.

A simple traffic stop (multiple tickets) drags on for years..and for what? For someone who charges so much for his services, I would imagine he should be able to pay his fines and move on without a problem.  I also can bet he never told his clients back then that he was on house arrest(ankle bracelet). With all of his cases going on, and I bet he never informed his clients as his probation stated. It's no wonder he has so many lawsuits against him. BY the way, he pled guilty to his federal case (probably a plea deal).

On top of ALL of this, he still manages to piss other people off. The incident with Wickedfire (easy to Google) was just silly. Why would a professional business owner get into a shouting match? For those who don't know, he simply copied and pasted a comment of someone he was defending on a forum to another forum (AKA Google hates duplicate content). Not a big deal in a regular world, but A BIG NO NO in SEO world, and something that should certainly be known by a "white hat" company. Cliff notes are: Owner of the forum gets super angry, calls him out, and Matt Roberts simply fuels the fire. Why? Just let it go and move on. You already have a shaky reputation. Not to mention other squabbles with other SEO companies. His employees mention of him being mentally ill, and that seems to be the case. Mentally ill as in most likely a sociopath.

Sociopath: Lying and exhibiting manipulative behavior, exhibiting a lack of empathy, behaving irresponsibly or acting with impulse, showing a lack of remorse or shame.

All in all, this is certainly a legitimate business with an extremely unethical owner. It certainly sounds like he charges top dollar and does the bare minimum (except on his own website). I've spoken with his past clients, and found out that he threatens those who leave a bad review with "negative SEO". There are MULTIPLE claims about this. It's no wonder the vast majority of his reviews are shallow and vague 5 stars. They certainly appear to be fake. My recommendation? Do your research. If you have thousands or tens of thousands of dollars to spend every month, you certainly have enough money to take the time and look this dude up. My recommendation? Stay away. If you're already in a contract. Finish it up and leave with a good note. If he breaks contract (which customers stated he does frequently) leave immediately and prepare to lawyer up. Save all of your records and be cool.

Madea mistake. Last post said his DOB was 1/2/1986. That was a mistake. It's 1/3/1986. This information shall be used to do a proper public search on him only, and NOTHING else.

He also complains when others have positive reviews like our entire set of feedback from clients or others we've worked with.

As we all know, Rip Off Report requires legtimate background information to register.  

There would be very little reason why a company or a person would want to complain unless they had a legitimate beef with the company. 

I never heard of the guy until he started to attack us maliciously on a blog post of ours.  To no fault of our own, we simply used a link to his competitors on a blog post and he accused us of obtaining funds and being paid for the links.  He has no proof and we've never taken any funds.  As I told him, we simply grabbed the link to support the content in this post:

This complaint is completely fake, and as such we were hesitent to even add more content to this page in an effort to avoid a "streisand effect" contributing to its ranking even higher in the search engines.

I urge the original poster to add proof of any business relationship with my company, such as a copy of an invoice from our company, proving they did business with us. I'm 100% confident that will never happen as this phony review was meant only to harm my companies reputation online.
