Administrative Headquarter ripoff Europe And North America sent me a fraudulent check of $3900 with a real company name and address who's identity they stole D-22345 Hamburg Germany
This company sent me a letter saying that I was a lucky winner of $250,000 in the Fourth Quarter of the 2006 Lottery Year. Enclosed with this letter was a check for $3,900 for paying the non resident government service tax. The tax amount of $2,550 was to be paid through western union or money gram. And I was to contact Mr. Joe Smith at Tel# 011-491-609-189-8324 for instructions on how to process and claim the prize.
On the check was a company name and address of Atlanta CSO Constructors, 2549 Chattahoochee Circle NW, Atlanta, GA 30318 which happens to be a real company. Also listed on the check was Suntrust Bank, Atlanta, GA 30302 which also happens to be a real bank. Before calling the tel# listed in the letter, I did a little research online. I was able to find the tel#'s of the company and bank listed in the check. I gave them a call first to see what they had to say. I was told that the check was fraud and not to cash it because the bank would come back and collect from me for the whole check amount. She also said that someone had stole their company's identity and had to open another account with another bank.
So, knowing this I didn't even bother to call the tel# on the letter since now I know is a scam.
