Ripped off for $1,650.

APS did not "secure quality locations in my area" for any of my machines as per their advertising. The locations were not found in a timely manner promised by the president of the company Jay Baird and the professional locator I was told to trust did not care were my machines were placed.

Any location that would agree to take the machine, he would tell me was a good location.

None of my locations were secured by any research for profitabilty or anything else and they are not quality locations.

I could only talk to Jay before I paid in full for the service. After that he did not want to talk to me. His associate Steve,in charge of locators was rude and insulting to me. He put me down for my landuage and accent and did not want to do anything to resolve the problem.

APS is a member of NBOB with over 9 complains with 4 pending, and a member of BBB of Chicago with complains filed as well. When NBOB contacted APS on my behalf, first APS did not reply for over a month, only after they were warned about termination of their NBOB membership the communication renewed.

Jay requested for me to send APS a letter stating that my contract with them will close when 8 replacement locations are found before any replacement locations are found. After I had FAXed that letter for the second time NBOB received a FAX from Jay stating he will replace 8 machines and I was told to expect replacement locations in a week.

Jay called me in several day stating they will not do it, unless I will write to BBB that I am happy with all of my locations before my eight replacement locations are found, only then Jay said they will give me the replacement locations. He said he had pushed with NBOB and did not do anything for over a month, he will do the same with BBB.

The bootom line is Jay Baird, the president of APS does not want to honor his own contract, brakes the commitment he made to NBOB and has no intentions of resolving the problem!

There is no business opprtunity in vending with the locating services of APS.

I had lost all of my savings paying for the vending machines and their placement, all due to a poor placement by APS.

HELP! HELP! HELP!

THEY WANT MONEY AND DON'T CARE. If from what I'm reading then they are lying to the charities and I hope all the locating companies go out of business. Any questions please look me up.

If everyone reads the contract carefully I wouldn't sign it in the first place.

I have an answer to this whole mess. Call your friends, relatives, coworkers and let them locate for the $50. Why sign a contract? The contract is meaningless. The only thing I agree with on the contract is that the purchaser agrees to tour the facility or building(s). Come on now its a contract and its bogus. The locator only makes $30 not even that and thats why they're all hiring in the country. I won't work for a company that has the I don't care attitude. Your dealing with people trying to make a better living and messing it up. Not only do you have to put in $500 then another $1000? after that. If everyone reads the contract carefully I wouldn't sign it in the first place. I heard other things about this company. When I get all my machines located I'm making better money then paing $1000 of it and losing it. The companies will come back and the contract is their proof that you signed it and nothing that you can do on that. The only other way to get back is to get a check filled out from your bank and cancelling it first thing.

Jay Baird guy from what I heard from someone else isn't good

I am going to ad another comment. I already did some research on these companies and there is one I might use to get locations faster. This Jay Baird guy from what I heard from someone else isn't good. From what I was told by these other people the locator didn't care and just placed the machines anywhere they wanted to. I have the contract and once that goes through there isn't much you can do.

Vending companies... www.bbb.org ...reputation

I didn't get to read everything. You need to do more research on the companies. There is one I'm trying that is in Utah with no complaints. I won't mention the name but what I will say is from people I have talked to its tough unless you know people. I'm thinking about doing the business also and maybe something can come out of it. I'm waiting for a response. One of the first places to go to is www.bbb.org and look at the companies reputation.
