Advanced Moving System unprofessional evil dirt bag ripoff jacked up price San Antonio Texas
I needed movers to move me to AZ for a job. The movers got to my house..they were two hours late and were not professional at all. The one man kept smoking cigarettes the entire time. Once they started to load my stuff they were careless with my boxes and furniture. After loading a few items the man kept telling me I needed to pay extra for special couch coverings which I thought were included in the fee. I also was told that it would cost 50 for a box. The man kept making rude comments to me like everything in life costs money, and nothing is free. I did not expect anything to be free but I Did expect quality service and honest service.
I printed out a requistion form that included the price of all items I was going to get transported to AZ. Half my items weren't even in the truck and he said I was taking to much space and I would need to pay 400. more. The entire time they were talking in their foreign lanuage and being so disrespectful. The guy would constantly change the charges...it was crazy! THe one guy kept bossing the working guy around..as we were making a decesion to cancel service the boss guy started shouting at the worker guy to load the stuff.
I hurried and got thier license plate number in case they would take off. He insisted we owed him 96.00 for a min. of 6 hours. He then said ok 500. He did not have ligitamate books on prices or anything. I hope that no one has to go through what I did. It is upsetting to realize how cruel and greedy these people are. I would say if your moving your best bet is to get a uhaul and take your stuff by yourself! What an awful experience!
