My name is Jason Huet and I am the Customer Service Supervisor for Advocate Auto Claims. I write this in response to Mike in Boston.
We have reviewed our clients file. Mikes file was processed and submitted to the insurance company for Diminished Value. Mikes file was worked and negotiated by our adjusting staff. Though we have settled many claims in every state, including Massachusetts, there are still a small percentage of Diminished Value Claims we are unable to settle without the need for litigation. This is why we do not charge our clients any up front fees, and in the event Advocate Auto Claims is unable to settle the claim or find an attorney willing to pursue further, our client owes us nothing.
In addition, Advocate Auto does have General Counsel registered with the Florida Bar. We have never stated we have attorneys in every state. However, in most cases that need legal representation, we do all we can to locate attorneys in those specific areas who are willing and able to successfully pursue litigation. In Mikes case, we were not able to locate an attorney who would handle his claim. Mike was sent a cancellation letter stating as such.
I would like to reiterate Advocate Auto absorbs all the costs associated with pursuing these claims, and receives no compensation until the claim settles. So you can rest assure that all efforts and avenues have been exhausted before any claim will ever be cancelled. In addition Advocate Auto Claims prides itself on superior customer service and takes every claim very seriously.
