A&E Factory Service (owned By Sears) 15 Minute Repair Visit Cost Me $179.00, RIP-OFF College Park Georgia
I called A&E Factory Service and scheduled an appointment for between 8 - 12 am. Technician arrived at 12:02 pm.
Tech came in to repair my ice maker, ice maker would not make ice. He found the spring had came off, re-attached the spring and tested ice maker. Total time spent was 15 minutes.
My bill was $179.00. I asked why so much, he said that is what Sears charges, doesn't matter if he was here 5 minutes or 2 hours, he codes it in and that is what the cost is.
I called A&E back to complain about the service fee, they said they will take my name and number and customer service will call be back.
Surprise, NO CALL BACK!!!!
