Aerican Home Shield ripoff deceptive company They took my money and promised to send someone to repair my things, ripoff! Carrol Iowa
My refrigerator quit cooling Sunday so I placed a work order by phone. Your only talk to the machine. My contract states they will contact someone within 4 hours and the repairman will call and set a time to fix my refrigerator. I waited unti Monday afternoon to check and they told me they were looking for someone. I called back Tuesday and was told Curtis repair service would contact me and set up a time to repair my Refrigerator. I called again Wednesday and was told they were still looking for someone. I called Thursday and they told me whitehorse repair would call me. On Friday they said they were still looking. Several times the offered to let me get someone on my own and pay them and then they would pay me if everything met thier guide lines. Finally on Friday I told them I would accept that offer if they would E-Mail me something I could print out stating they would pay for a service call trip charge to my home. They promised to do this. After several hours I called back and they again promised to send it right out. I still haven't recieved anything. I picked up the phone and located someone in 15 minutes but he wants $5o.00 trip charge to come out and see what the problem and then if he doesn't have the parts he will have to make another trip. Guess who will be holding the bag trying to get thier money back. They took my money and promised to send someone to repair my things when they break now they say they don't have any service people in my area. Why do they sell a service that they can't provide.
