Called Afficient Towing Sunday at 7:30 AM after I found van was towed to get information on how to get my van back. The gentleman on the other was awoken by my phone call. He said to call back on Monday after 10 AM.

I expalined to the individual I need van to transport my Special Needs Daughter. He said to call back on Monday and hung up on me.

I called back to get his name and he said no than hung up on me. At $500 and $30 a day I feel that they are holding my van to get more money out of me.

I know this is kind of long, but read it, it is worth knowing what really happens with this Company a 100% True story!

I read above statement from "Joe the manager" which is nice to finally see a managers name after asking for
one or the owner for 2 days. My car was repo'd by my lending company. It was actually done by mistake because talking to my lending comp. they were going to give me one more week to make my four hundred dollar payment. Instead though
the next day the repo department put out a request for the repo men to come get it not seeing the notes. My lending company which I would refer to any one handled the situation amazing. They never give second chances but since it was
not my fault, I had to pay my month and one additional month, to get my car back. Which I was fine with, they also informed that I owed them 94.00 from the beginning of my loan which I was happy to pay. So my total balance to my
lending company was 894.00.

Then they said that I was going to have to pay the 319.00 dollars we already paid to Afficient Towing and Recovery in Glendale. That was understandable as well. After I paid all the fee's they instructed Afficient Towing and Recovery to release my vehicle to me and I was going to be contacting them. I obviously would have to go through a lot to get upset because even though my car was just towed when it should not of, when I thought I was going to only pay my original and normal 400 dollars a month and ended up paying a total of 1213.00 after all fee's I was still not upset, I understood. I am the type of person if I make a
mistake or I am wrong I will admit to it and I will hold up my consequences, so that is how I expect others to act around me.

When I first contacted Afficient towing and recovery on Monday, I informed them that had my vehicle repo'd on Saturday morning, right away a woman Tammy started arguing that the report said Friday night at 10:55pm, which was
impossible because the lending company already told me Saturday morning was when they made the request, and I also was not even home till almost midnight that night. After going back and forth I decided to give in. I told her that I
needed to get my car and possessions. What are the fees? She told me that I was charged 38 dollars for them to clean out my car of possessions. (Mind you I already cleaned my car out the night before with my husband all possessions
where in the back) She told me that I was charged 22.00 a day for holding my vehicle and a 75.00 redemption fee which (paper work fee) that if I picked up just my personal belongings they bagged today (Monday there would be no more fee's) if
not then there would be an additional 11.00 fee each day they hold my belongings, on top of the 22.00 a day. This is Tammy. I said okay I will call you back totaling 201.00. I called back hours later, to confirm I could pick it up today. She gave me the correct address instructed me cash only I told her that I would bring the 201.00 she then said it was 270.00 dollars. I asked how?
I typed everything you said down, she said that the daily fee to hold my car is 32.00 I said no 22.00 she said no because of belongings. I said that is not right you said if I brought my 38 there is no additional charges if not 11 dollars a day. It has only been a couple hours?? That is not right. I already paid 300 for you guys to pick it up. She said she will not argue with me, I
asked for a supervisor she said I can call tomorrow I asked for a name she said Donna. I then asked who owned afficient she said you can find that online. I tried multiple times while I waited for the next day but couldnt find any one.

Then next morning Donna answered. I was excited I explained to her, well tried to explain to her what happened every other word she cuts you off with well I have no power, there is power lines every where I can not pull anything up. I continue to explain, I cannot do anything she says you have to wait till like 1p. I have no idea how she would even know if the power was really off what time it would honestly be restored. I asked if she was the manager, she said yes. I asked if she would be there at 1p she said no. I told her that I did not want to work with Tammy because of the wrong quotes and that I need to speak to
her, she said fine, she also is the one who offered me that I was not going to get charged for the day because the power was off I said thank you cause I am already paying so much money to you. I called every hour per hour to see if the "power was on" even though the phone lined worked. At 1p power was back on miraculously even though I heard typing many times and music. I asked her to look at my account, she did, she said it is 243.00. I said how? She said that another girl put it together and she knows what she is doing and it is right. I asked for a break down still calm because this is a new person. She said she would have to call me back because she is too busy for this right now and I am holding up the phone line. I agreed after thirty minutes I called back she answered she asked if the girl she had do it already do it again. Which I heard her say the breakdown I already did yesterday was on the back look. She told me because of 38.00 dollars to clean it out. 22.00 A day for vehicle
holdings which now Tuesday I was at 80.00 and 40.00 for holding my personal belongings. Also 75.00 for redemption fee. plus tax. i told her i was unaware of a 40 for holding that I was only going to get charged an additional 11 for today cause yesterday I could of brought down my 38 for my stuff and picked up my belongings.. She said nope its a 11 a day from the first day. I said ok where do you even get 40 if it is 11 a day for 4 days? You guys cannot do math, you guys just make up charges then honestly pick the highest one. Why cant you leave my stuff in the car and not charge me.. She said because we have to auction
your car off without your personally belongings. I said makes no sense you wouldnt auction off my car if I didnt get it out, it would go back to the lender. She said I am not going to argue with you this is the price.  I am not going to go over it again it is 243. I see Tammy did do three different quotes yesterday and I am giving you a better deal. I am not sure what Tammy did wrong.

I said but you told me that you where not going to charge me for today. She said no I didnt. Yes you did Donna the first conversation you said because the power was down. Well I know but that is before I could see your fee's. Well no
duh donna you said because of the power was down I was going to get it free, if the power was down then obviously you where not be able to see my fee's she said I am not going to argue, I am done. I said what is your address, she hung up.

After crying for two hours and complaining about this evil company I drove there, I live in Queen Creek, work in Chandler and they are in Glendale. They gave me the wrong address probably thinking it was funny. I called Donna, she told me to turn east on this street north on this street. I told her you can't she said Im done and hung up again. I got there and you cannot go inside of building office you have to stand outside in the heat they lock the door and you talk to a window with a little hole ... I watched three other people get screwed yelled out treated like dirt. then it was my turn I did not argue I did not hesitate
nor bring up the many conversations of every bad quote wrong quote treated like crap multiple times of hanging up on me I just wanted my car. She said oh Nicole 243.00 gave her the money my id. She went to do paper work, I heard laughing.
Then I look above me and there is a sign quoting IF you are mean, irritable, or rude, we will charge an additional 10.00 for putting up with you" Sad!

I got my car, after standing in the heat of a record high today for over 30 minutes. My husband drove it while I drove my brothers car home. I watched as we got onto the freeway and my back right bumper starts flapping in the wind its
broken!! Are you serious? I called the police and told them all my complaints above and also they left a message on my phone Saturday while they were looking for my car that they where detective Ryan with the phoenix police station. The
cop station said that is illegal I told them about the fee's the damages. I am making a police report and pressing charges.

I called Donna back when I got back to work and said Donna there is damages on my car that I picked up today. She said " you will have to call back tomorrow when a manager can help you" I said donna you are the manager no I am not. I have to go... Donna I am Nicole  I have talked to you ten times today every time you told me that you where the manager. Her exact words where I was a manager but now not, but I am too busy I have a thousand things going on and I do not have time for this you have to call tomorrow!" Donna you just lied to me, you said you where not the manager you told me you where now you
are then not? I am confused. Also you cannot tell me you are too busy that is why you wont deal with this. She said she will call me back in fifteen minutes. An hour later thinking I would be gone from work cause I told her I was leaving at 5 and she called 505. She said now what do you want? I said you damaged my car, she  aid make a claim through your insurance. I said it doesnt cover it. She said they have to call us. I said it doesnt cover it. I said the police said they will take me down there to you to fix it or give my money back. She said make a claim through your insurance. She said you can call tomorrow and talk to the owners if you want. I said I have been asking for their names for 2 days. I would love to talk to them, she said call them tomorrow I said I ok what their number extension something NO YOU WILL CALL THIS LINE> okay what is there name? I am not giving you the name you can look online. I have tried I cannot find them. Well Im not giving it to you. Why not? cause I am
not going to get in trouble because of you. Well you say you are always going to get in trouble or get fired. I am probably going to get fired soon. I said well its probably how you handle customers. she said, no trust me its not that, and  I am done call tomorrow that is it. Hung up.

I have never been treated this way, nor have I dealt with a company that lies sooo much! I have never seen such a ghetto place, nor had a company with two people treat people the way they do. I could understand maybe one person, but
Tammy and Donna both where horrible. Lied, missed quoted didnt care, took money without explaining what is really going on, told me they were not going to change anything, try to help nothing or they would get fired if they did something to help. The owners must be really horrible, cold hearted people cause there employee's are. Feel free to contact me because I will go and tell everyone my story.

**NO one deserves to be treated this way, not customers, not clients no one! Do not use this company if it was your last resort, if you personally needed a tow push your car yourself before this company!** Please look at Googles reviews on them, you will see hundreds of the same stuff even worse.

My first comment I have to make is regarding the prices that Calvin is quoting. The correct prices are 150.00 (city of Mesa) for the impound fee and 15.00 per day for storage. I can only guess where the vehicle was picked up at and who the owner is, since he is not giving the correct info. The only van that was impounded that weekend was a Nissan Quest and the owners name was "James". He states that, "we hold vehicles over the weekend so we can charge more storage fees". That is also a false statement. We do release vehicles on the weekends. But, we charge a fee to release vehicles after hours, so it would be cheaper to pay 1 day of storage as opposed to the 75.00 fee to release during non business hours. It is up to the owner of the vehicle to decide whether the urgency merits an after hours fee. I am sorry Calvin feels the way he does about our company. But to avoid all of this in the future he can park his van properly, instead of in a fire lane. Honestly, Joe Manager Afficient Towing and Recovery
