I am an employee of After Hours Formalwear and I firmly believe in our company policies. There are many complaints in this report that is not specific enough to be a valid complaint. Each customer signes a contract with us and we explain things such as the tuxedo arrival date, as well as each customer should be present when picking up the tuxedo for a proper final fitting. If you are not happy with either of these statements, then the customer should address them BEFORE leaving the store. At this point the associate should have also informed you that your wedding was in the middle of prom season and your wedding party should be fitted as soon as possible. A month and a half may seem like a long time, but usually arrangements should be made 6 months in advance. We do have a lot of customers and mistakes can be made with anything done in a hurry. As far as wrong sizes, was the coat/pants/shirt the wrong size completely, or did it fit in the shoulder and not the torso? Unfortunitally, when renting a tuxedo we can not talyor each tux exactly to each body figure, that would be when you would have to buy a tuxedo. If the sleeves were too long that tell me that that customer was not present for their final fitting, sleeve and pant adjustments can be made in the store (this is also were you would check the buttons and colors) The word ETC is NOT specific enough complaint to be on a web site like this because, it's just not a real complaint. I do apologize for your incomvience, and for the employee making you feel as though they did not care. On the other hand if you had violated your contract in anyway, there is not much we can do for you. This is the reason why we have contracts. I do hope if you ever rent a tuxedo again you will do it in a more timely, organized, and informed manner.
