Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

In January this year our tankless water heater failed. AHS appointed technician came out and later installed an inferior model. I informed AHS that this heater was not satisfactory and only delivered 2.5 g.p.m compared to my old one of 3-4.5g.p.m.

After many phone calls and a letter from me, AHS said that their technician stated that we did not have the original water heater we claimed to have had. This had a label and telephone number on it. Their technician even contacted the old water heater company using this number.  They continued to deny my claim and stated that their plumbing company had destroyed the original. I suppose this was after taking out the $200 worth of brass from it. Meanwhile we were unable to run a dishwasher or washing machine at the same time as showering. Prior to this we had no problem.

I have subsequently written a couple more letters and  phoned dozens of times - AHS making me out to be a liar. I have received no letter from them and a couple of phone calls.

Eventually  AHS had their own independent technician look into this matter. He confimed that the newly installed heater was not adequate for my house. Since then, I have waited many more weeks for AHS to decide what to do. Now, the water heater has failed and I am without hot water. They have promised to get a different company in to install a replacement but nothing is happening.

My contract states that there is a like-for-like replacement policy. AHS are con- temptuous of their clients, their Customer Care is non-existant and they need to be reminded from where their revenue comes from. We would all be better off putting the policy money under our beds.

I too have hadvseveral issues with AHS,Drop in range 26 years old and 2 burners are unuseable.Contractor came out did estimate and got approval. Hesaid they should replce but that drop ins are expensive he had to order parts. 4 weeks later no parts or contractor.  6 weeks before repairs were done, guess what parts were off brand and have never worked. AHS talked in circles.

Washing machine. AHS sent a young guy who had to borrow my tools to replace some components. Not fixed. AHS sent sears out. Mexican guy did not understand the english language and didn't fix. AHS rep said go buy one and we will pay current repairs to pay for it. my cost439.00 they were to pay 200 and change 4 years later nothing.

Swamp cooler- contractor charged for leg kit(not covered by AHS) and new tubing (not covered). Problem is leg kits run 36.00. Tubing was never replaced and contractor cant be found. POint AHS hires irreputable individuals. Name on invoice was a different LICENSED company.

Heater ducts fell from basement ceiling. Contractor said he couldnt do it under warranty cause one pirce was bent. But offered to do it for 800.00 . I bought pieces and did the repair 2 hours and 56,00 later i did what AHS was supposed to.

garbage disposal and dish washer same thing. they are crooks no doubt and state attorney generals are failing in their duties to protect us.

you will notice coverage rates continue to climb as does your co pay.
