I have had extreme difficulty dealing with the incompetent staff at AIG. I received a letter in December 2001 stating that AIG could not reach me and therefore were terminating my insurance. The letter was dated October of 2001.

The claims adjustor failed to included my apartment number on the letter and so it was sent back to AIG several times. AIG had no problem including my apartment number when they wanted their payments. I called and complained only to find out that my call was not properly documented and I was driving with no insurance. AIG at that time had no refunded any portion of my money and they threatened that this incident would show on my record.

I am outraged with this company. I have no tickets of any sort nor have I been involved in any accidents. I have a perfect driving record. They never offered any compensation for my frustration and risk associated with driving with no insurance. DO NOT EVER GET THIS INSURANCE!!!!I am filing a complaint with the insurance commissioner Mike Kriedke!!
