Rip off from th beginin. When I met with the property manager then Erin Sheppard, she walked me to an apartment and to my surprise when we entered...it was a 2 bedroom apartment for $1,419.00 per month. Absolutely not what we were looking for, as we stated we were looking for a 1 bedroom for $1100 or under when making the appointment. I even told her the young boy stated there was one near him. Her response was her one bedrooms available were more expensive then this 2 bedroom. After returning to her office and going over the finances we told her we may be interested but had to look else where. She stated the offer for the $1419.00 with 1 month free and a $500.00 security deposit expired the next day. I was shocked, I've worked in property management for 5 years and would never tell a client looking at my apartments the offer was only for 24hrs. We made a split decision that night to find a room mate. I regret this now

2. The apartments are not what are described on their website. I had no large ceilings, laminate faux wood flooring, no updated appliances, and a late 60's all pink bathroom. Upon moving in i made note our ceiling in our bathroom looked like it had been patched, very terribly, from a previous leak.

3. I was chased by a pit bull and my dog also chased, when i informed management they did nothing. The dog still always came after us when we walked. Pit bulls were not allowed at this complex. There were needles left in the grass in front of my apartment. Gross.

4. About 7 months into my lease i because to see dark mold growing in my bathroom along the entire length of the ceiling. I notified the management company and put in 3 maintenance requests. They were never followed up on.

5. I brought this to the attention of the manager, at which time i also requested a 60 day notice to vacate form from their office, we were not going to be signing a new lease. 3 Days later myself, my fiance and room mate were served an eviction notice. We never received a 14 day notice and because of the 3 requests for mold that were avoided by their company my lease was void (per a section of the lease) They directed me to a lawyer and we all agreed to leave before the lease was up and pay until the day we left and there would be no eviction and no mention of the non compliance of maintenance due to the mold.

7. After moving out, paying what was due i thought all would be through with this company, boy was i wrong. a year and 1/2 later my credit was hit (as I'm trying to apply for a mortgage) because the lawyer they hired never filed the paper work stating we paid an moved out. I'm not playing ping pong with the new property manager and their corporate office to get them to send over the correct paperwork.

All in all, this place was a RIP off. They wheel you in on false information, don't give you what you want, and do not care about any of your concerns. Don't move here!
