Buyer Beware:

Do not, under any condition, use Air Around the Clock for any service whatsoever, unless you would like to hand them your checkbook and allow them to take your money!!

From the moment these people installed our system, approximately 4 years ago, we have had multiple problems each year. The first system was installed and we immediately had flooding in our garage and in the return vent in the house.  ATC basically said it wasn't their problem and any damage to our house/property was not their responsibility either.  I spoke to a jerk on the phone who finally said he would send someone out.

When another guy showed up, by the way, these guys are 3rd party contractors and essentially don't "work" for ATC, we may have been lucky enough to get one with some scruples.  This was the first and last time that happened.  He replaced the drywall and admitted the drain line had been installed improperly.

Since then, we have had them come and last twice a year for a problem that seems to never be included in their "warranty" or "service contract".  Neither of these exist with ATC.  You will ALWAYS end up paying.  

Last year, we had to replace the coils in our system since it was freezing up.  That cost us $500 in addition to whatever the BS "service contract" cost.  We had another problem with the system maintaining the cooling and temperature.  That contractor said we needed a new compressor.  We declined.  Six months later when we had a problem, the contractor mentioned again we needed a new compressor and that it would be $500. (This seems to be their go-to pricing).

Today, after our system froze up yet again, this contractor asked if we had ever had freon added.  After looking at the system, he added freon and let us know that it would be $195 but that we also needed our coil replaced.... AGAIN!!!  But, he was willing to give me a discount and it would only be $350 and the cost of the freon would go toward the $350.  And he gave me a discount on the freon, only $165.

But, what about my service contract???? How does the same part in a new system go wrong 2 years in a row??? So just within the last year, we would have put over $1000 into this new, state-of-the-art Rheem air conditioner!!!  

The contractor says, "We just get you cool air, ma'am.  We aren't the manufacturer."  

No, you are a crook and a liar and take advantage of the knowledge gap of most consumers who live in a hot climate and need this service.  I hate being at the mercy of service providers who know they can get away with whatever they want because at the end of the day, what choice do we have???  I say, LINDSTROM AIR CONDITIONING !!!!!!!
