If you have your resume posted to job boards such as: Monster.com / Indeed.com/ etc.
Beware when receiving an email from 'Human Resources'
I was contacted by Ashley Lee (and again by Kennth Sanon) and thanked for applying for a Project Management position. And lets be honest, when you've applied for 100 different jobs over a period of job hunting.....chances are, you won't remember who you have/have not applied with.
Before so much as an phone interview, they offered paid training. In my case, it was 4 weeks online classes where they'd send a check after completion. I was then refered to www.airwaysxp.com to learn more about this company based out of Switzerland. Again, before so much as a phone interview, this fake company sent me a Pre-Contract in hopes of obtaining personal information.
Anyone can buy a website and say they have an office at a physical address. Google the address given. If the 'company name' is not attached to that address, they are not physically located there.
HQ is supposedly located at:
Seefeldstrasse 69, 8008 Zurich, Switzerland
And supposedly there's a New York branch as well:
Ashley Lee, Human Resources - 347-269-0775
466 Lexington Ave., New York, NY 10017, U.S.A
Airways Express Co., New York (USA) Co., LTD.
You will never be given a fake address, because this would blow their scam. The address will always be real. A nice/decent building will pop up in a great/desireable area, but the company name will never be attached to your findings. Why? ....the company doesn't exist.
If you can't find info on the company outside of the website they've given you, report them to the Federal Trade Commission.
