I attended a Learning Annex in November 2006. Of all the speakers there, I was most impressed with Dr. Al Lowry. Being new to the real estate investing world, I was looking for a mentor/teacher who covered all the basics and then some. Dr. Al Lowry filled that need for me and I purchased his CD package for about $1495(?) at the time. I also signed up for a two-day weekend seminar (about $2995 ?) just after the event with Al at a hotel in Chicago. I will tell you, those two-days I attended and his material I purchased were the most influential things I have done as an adult in the business world. To this day (Jan 2009) I still listen to his cd's in my car or on my ipod and learn things I didn't hear the first time. I am a business owner of several entities and use his methods daily which has put me head of my competitors (i.e. - how to leverage banks, credit cards and others people money...understanding seller financing, etc, etc). I have never heard Al Lowry or any of his employees mention, or as this report states, "GUARANTEE a $25,000 return in money if you follow the program". That's nonsense. For Al Lowry, Robert Kiyosaki or any other of the national speakers on wealth building or financial inspiration I will say that it always seems to be the "I can't do this" mentality who complains the most and will never get ahead in life as they will always seem to find an excuse. My hat is off to Al Lowry and I would thank him personally for my growth and understanding of Real Estate and business in general. Was that $1495 cd's and $2995 weekend worth it? It was a bargain.

The Learning Annex GUARANTEES all of its events, but this student did NOT make this purchase at a Learning Annex event. We have been in business for over 28 years teaching our students how to better themselves and we want only satisfied learners. Unfortunately, since this purchase was NOT at a Learning Annex event, there is nothing we can do to help resolve this. This would be like a customer buying something at Macy's and then complaining that Nordstrom won't give him his money back. This student should not have mentioned "The Learning Annex" in his post.
