This was the worst move EVER. They were hired by Presidential Moving to move us from Nevada to Missouri. Alex came into our home and after receiving a quote of $7100 from Presidential, attempted to raise our cost to over $3000 more. We finally settled on a rate of $9500. Mind you, he raised the rate AFTER viewing the amount of furniture we had.
The movers showed up with a truck that was too small and had to have what we thought was the remainder of our furniture. The furniture was then offloaded, put in storage, and reloaded onto PART of an 18 wheeler. They arrived in MO. with about 2/3rds of our furniture, with much of that 2/3rds DAMAGED. Broken glass table tops, huge gashes in the solid wood furniture, etc.
Then a week later the remainder (what we hoped was the remainder) arrived. Still more damaged and missing items. A new inversion table, Klipsch Quintet speakers among the missing items, garden statues broken, BBQ busted.
Furniture was not purt back together as promised, and why we agreed to pay the additional $2500.
Please do not use these people if you care about your belongings, you will regret it deeply.
