I was new to the moving experience and had no idea what I was in stored for. I had hired All Cities Real Estate Services to move me from Texas to New Mexico and everything was great till the day before my move. I was called by Brandy and was told that they did not know if they could pick me up on the day promised! On my second day of the window I was told that they would pick me up the following day and nothing. I tried to call and my calls were never picked answered nor were my messages. I was left in a mess trying to find another mover to pick me up. After 2 days I could not find a mover that could pick me up and that is when I was finally called and was told that my movers were on their way!!! Of course I said yes come because I had no other choice. What a huge mistake!!! All of my items had been ruined! With branches and leaves and scrapes and dents!!! Seems to me that the truck had been in some kind of accident or they left my stuff outside!!! When I called after it took nearly 2 weeks to receive my items and to top it off my price was nearly double the amount!!! (I was told it would only take a few days, but to find out the truck had went to pick up other peoples belongings) I was told that did not know what happened to my items but the drivers or the contractors who they found to move my items would have to be the ones to reimburse me for my items @ .60 cents per pound!!! I was told that their was insurance up to 150,000 if any of my items were damaged! Now they are only providing me with .60 cents per pound! After doing some research I found out that All Cities Real Estate, Midwest Relocation, US Moving Online, American Moving of Texas, and US Vanlines ARE ALL THE SAME COMPANY AND ARE NOT A MOVING COMPANY BUT A BROKER!!!! After even more research by searching their DOT Numbers I found out they had changed their names from previous being Relocation and Services!!!! I was told the owner was Robert Johnson, but to find out the owner is acutally Daniel Bruce who was the previous owner of Relocation and Services. I really wished I would had taken the time to investigate my movers before hiring them and be aware that they are extremely nice and answers phone calls but when your moves goes wrong they completely ignore you!!!!!! I have yet to receive any money for the replacement of my items nor any return phone calls. Before hand I had left messages with Sherry, Brandy and Amanda and Emily! Still all they tell me is that "Robert Johnson" will return my call but still hasnt nor have I gotten a apology!!!! These company's are a scam company and are on the black list on www.movingscam.com Do not use these companies they are moving scams!!!!

There is no Robert Johnson. That is a name of someone Mr. Bruce knows/ use to know, I was never clear on that. They use the name as a "silent partner". Go to Crandall, Daniel is the tall guy there. I remember this move and many others just like it that blew up. We were told to just get them sold and don't worry about the rest. Be carefull now though, I heard the name changed to Nationwide Moving and that things are being changed into Sherry Johnsons name. All you have to do is Google Daniel Bruce and you'll see everything from Florida, North Carolina, and I think it was Iowa. If you get a call and the address you mail anything to is Crandall- run. This guys a low life.

R&S got me too for $4300

R&S relocation and storage took a $4300 cashiers check for a move from CA to NM. They never showed up to do the move and they still have my money. I have filed complaints with the Dallas BBB, the FTA, the FMCSA, the AG of Dallas and the TXDOT. Im also in the process of contacting an attorney in TX. Does anyone out there know the MC # for any of the companies Daniel Bruce owns? I've been able to find at least 5 DBA's for Daniel Bruce, but what i really need is that MC#. i know i've seen it, but i can't remember where. if someone knows it, please let me know. thanks.

Clearly there is way too much detail to indicate this is a disgruntled employee commenting - that's an excuse most scam movers use to write-off their complaints as nothing more than garbage. Garbage is what you throw away when you no longer need it and scam movers like All Cities seem to think customers and garbage are the same thing. Yes, the customer should have known you are a broker and yes the customer is entitled to only $0.60/pound of valuation. On the other hand, your company should not mislead customers the fact your carriers have Cargo and BIPD insurance and then make the customer believe your insurance somehow will cover them in cases of drops, breaks, dings, dents, scratches and so on. It does not and the only person who doesn't know it is the victim/customer. The truth is - customers do not need brokers to do a move and if they knew this, there would be no need for you, or the companies you work with. There are many of us who are familiar with that slimeball Daniel Bruce, and how he runs scam moving companies. If Mr. Johnson bought the brokerage business - he is clearly no different than Daniel - unless he decides to truly address your scam operation, we can refer to him as Daniel Bruce II.

We truly apologize for any discomfort or stress you have endured during your move. It seems as though we were misinformed into thinking this site was about service or lack there of and not about who is who in the company. Robert Johnson has purchased All Cities Real Estate Services and is sole owner, we can appreciate you feel the need to seek justice because you feel you were wronged but in reality our company provided you a service and that service was completed. As far as the Kaufman Chamber of Commerce if we have not updated every companies registry and every website we apologize and will rectify the situation. As stated previously we encourage anyone with a legitimate problem or claim to contact myself at 1-866-736-8690 or feel free to contact the Better Business Bureau 817-882-0557. Once again we feel this is a disgruntle former employee out to tarnish the reputation of a good company and if that's the case, if you have a grievance with our company were sorry you feel that way and feel we have done no wrong.

Brandi, perhaps you've gotten confused because your company has so many different names, websites, and rental mailboxes. Or perhaps you're just flat-out lying. The Kaufmann Chamber of Commerce lists Daniel Bruce as the owner of All Cities Real Estate. http://www.kaufmantx.com/membership.htm If you'd like, I can also detail all the addresses and phone numnbers, not to mention moving company license numbers, that are shared between the companies you are working for and those listed with Daniel Bruce as the owner.
