A couple a days ago All County Towing went into my condominium complex in Davie at 2:25 AM in the morning and towed my car because I did not have the new months sticker on my car even though the car was registered and parked in my spot. The problem is that All County Towing first denied that they had my car and I found out later it was just to buy time. They reported it to the Police at 3:08 AM and that was suppposedly the time they logged the car in. They insisted that I pay $124 in cash at 8:47 AM or they would not release my car. After further review I found a Broward County Ordinance that said they could only charge $100 if the car was not impounded for more than 6 hours, but obviously I had no choice and paid. They damaged the car on the front and some money was missing out of the car. They dropped the car off outside a gate went back in and left it with the key in it for me to take. I then called them back and told them they damaged my car and they simply stated call your insurance company. Obviously, I was not going to just take this and I went even farther. The signs in the complex were not signs from this company, so I called the Sherriff's office and they said they would call them and tell them, the towing company came out and changed the signs today as they now know they were wrong. This was another voilation of a Broward County Ordinance. Thankfully, my condo association is now getting involved and said they are going to push the issue back at them and demand a refund. This is a key for all associations, simply remove the contracts from them and they will have no legal business, which won't stop them but it will slow them down. These people don't care and will do anything to take your car and your money.

Condo Associations Beware - Don't let a towing company harass your residents simply revoke all contracts and don't let them steal from your people.

I just discovered this site and all the reports against All County Towing in Fort Lauderdale.  I thought I would share my experience just in case someone is reading this and is tempted to side with "Anonymous with a Clue."

I moved into my condo in June of 2010.  I was towed my very first night at my new place.  I was quite upset, but realized that my landlord was to blame for not mentioning that the "office I need to get my parking pass at" was located in another city...he failed to inform me that the office on premises was closed indefinitely.  Then, I was towed a second time a month later for parking under covered parking.  All the spots are labeled "Reserved," and there is no distinction among them.

So I decided to contact management to request that they send me all the parking rules and regulations so I won't get towed again.  They refused and told me they only give that to the owners.  Then they told my landlord that I could "purchase!!" a copy of the rules.  I was then towed a 3rd time for letting my tags expire by 6 days.

I understand that these 3 towings were a result of All County doing what they were contracted to do.  What I don't agree with is how incredibly rude and horrible these people were on the phone.  The first couple of times I was upset but then I got used to it and was completely calm and collected the third time around when they hung up on me.  I had a friend drive me all the way over to their site (more than 10 miles) and they weren't even there.  When I explained that I had my 5 year old son with me that I needed to get in bed, the man yelled at me "It's not my fault you keep your kid up this late!" and hung up the phone! I was so upset for being treated like this and then to have my son affected as well.  We were only up that late to get my car!

This is when I was convinced that my condo, Lakes at Jacaranda, was in some sort of unethical business agreement with them. Why would my condo not tell me where the office is located?  Why would they not explain that I can only park in uncovered parking? (I even tested this by calling and acting like I was a new resident and asked if I could park anywhere when I got my parking sticker.  The lady said I could park absolutely anywhere.  She didn't mention I would be towed in covered and visitors.)

But what was the straw on the camel's back is when my friend had his car towed because he let his tags expire.  On the phone, they said we had 2 hours to get there to only be charged $100.  We immediately went there, and then they said $124.  We didn't pull out enough money to cover the added fee they charged, so we called the police for help.  When the two officers arrived, they knew the people by their first names and started joking with them.  Then they walked out and said that it was reported much earlier than it actually was, and our only option was to get a lawyer.  But then they printed a receipt that clearly showed the time was later, and that we had plenty of time within the 6 hours to not have the additional charge.  So even the police officers lied!  We couldn't believe how unethical the towing company people and police officers were.  Needless to say, when my friend's car was towed the very next day (he was parked next door in a shopping center), we had to bite the bullet once again.

Luckily, our condo does not contract with them anymore.  Things are so much better.  No more nasty guys speeding through the complex all day looking for someone to victimize.  I no longer have to talk to that raunchy "lady" on the phone to figure out the new reason for a car tow.  And we no longer have people wandering around the parking lot on their phone all day trying to figure out where their cars went.   I hope they go out of business! :)

Yea, I had similar issues with this company. The other night my car was towed from Vicana square in Davie. Now first off, I know its in ordinance of Broward County that they only need one tow away sign to tow your car, but its pretty absurd to have that sign in the back of the strip mall near the loading zone when there are 3 entrances into the complex. So i said "ok" thats fine they got me woohooo for them. Next morning i drive down to there facility only to find myself laughing at the set up they have. The only parking at "All County Towing" has is a tow away zone infront of their office, like come on, why are we being foolish now. Secondly the only way to communicate with the employees is through a small hole in the wall with a tray, now i work at Palm Beach County State Prison and to me their security was a bit much. All i could think of was "Right, There prolly gonna throw me some bullshit threw the hole and then disapear" and what do you know i tell them which car is mine they tell me the price, i go to ask questions about how to get the car because its not registeded in my name, and what do i get......silence. Im eventually forced to call them on the phone and ask if them if they were comming back, which they rudly responded "NO" and told me i had to get the owner of the car to fill out a form, Fine. Now im not complaining about the order of the facility im just questioning its morals. They hide behind a solid brick wall, so if you do have any issues they run and hide and at that point theres nothing you can do except pay. WTF kind of buissness is that, you cant just take peoples cars and then if the person has an issue run away intill they give you money, THIS BUISSNESS HAS BAD BUISSNESS EITHICS!!! and to the person whos saying there an ex-employee, Your quite oviously still working there and only here to thwart the truth of what All county towing has done, No one listen to what he has to say, please, or youll be the next one writing about it next.

Anonymous With A Clue if your post is cognitive of the attitude and behavior of employees of this company, you do post yourself as an 'ex employee', then I would have to believe the other two posters over you. You seem very hostile and defensive in both of your post. Prehaps your demeanor could be why your an 'ex' employ?

I have had the same problem with this company. ***your car was towed?? ok*** It wasn't a Condo Association 'per se' but it was at a Timeshare that I own. The Timeshare Association has a 'no parking backward policy' which I was unaware of and well sorry I parked backwards. ***admitting you were parked against the parking policy*** Honest mistake right? WRONG! ***nobody is mad at you*** This company towed me and I had to pay $152 to get the car out because of this. ***That is not even a charge. Please break it down??*** The Association President told me that they had no right to tow because of this, that parking backwards is not towable, simply a request from the Association. ***They HAVE to have authorization to tow the car, somebody from the association or security or parking lot monitoring had the car towed*** Well my question is: why is it that when I called this company I was told that I was towed because I was parked backwards? ***because you WERE towed because you parked backwards. what should they have told you???*** Why was I cursed out by the representative when I called? ***I'm sure that you were the one with the cursing first. I don't think they were just SOOO mad they towed your car that they felt the need to curse you out*** My advice: if you see this company on a tow away sign...park a mile away and walk! ***Or just park where you are supposed to or don't park against the rules***

You are required to have your decal affixed to your vehicle at all time your vehicle is on the property regardless of it being in your spot. Why would they need to buy time? Your vehicle was towed at 2:25am. The time it was logged into the police can be up to a half hour after the vehicle enters the tow yard. If it took them 15 minutes(according to MapQuest) to drive to their yard that means it got there at 2:40am. You claim that you called looking for your vehicle at 8:47am. That would be 6 hours and 7 minutes after the vehicle entered their yard. That is withing the guidelines of the County that you claim they violated. You claim they damaged your vehicle. How so? Have you ever seen a vehicle towed? They only pick up the TIRES. They never touch your car or your bumpers. This isn't the 1970's. ' You claim money was missing. How much money was missing? You are saying that you leave money in your vehicle in your non-gated condo?? Are you aware that break ins occur ALL the time? And i doubt there was enough money in your car to tempt them. You claim they dropped the car off outside a gate went back in and left it with the key in it for me to take. That is what they do, they bring the vehicle outside and you take it from there. Not really sure of the issue here. You called them back out and claimed your damage. Again, i ask have you ever seen cars being towed? Every time you go into a store or park your vehicle, do you do a complete inspection and walk around your vehicle?? I doubt it. You probably felt like you were towed wrongly, and figured you would get your money back by claiming previous damage to your towed vehicle. You claim the signs were not from this company. Not sure why you would call the Sheriff's Office as you are in the Town of Davie, but regardless it sounds like the company handled that issue in a timely manner and i commend them for doing so. You claim that this was another voilation of a Broward County Ordinance. Whereis the first?? You claim your condo association is now getting involved and said they are going to push the issue back at them and demand a refund. What was the resolution?? You claim for all associations to pull their contratcs from them. How about people park correctly and they won't have any more business. Did you ever think of that or do you like to blame others instead of taking responisbility for your actions?? It sounds to me like All County Towing acted well within Broward County ordinances.
