As agreed the scope of work was to remove the drywall around the perimeter of the house on ceilings and walls, strap each truss with Simsons straps, repair drywall, tape and skim joints in order to bring my home up to Florida wind mitigation code. On 12/8/2014 when I received the contract, I noticed that the wind mitigation inspection report was not listed in the verbiage as we had previously discussed, but after talking with Anthony, he assured me that the inspection report would be provided. After all, the purpose of this project was to bring my “older” home up to wind mitigation code; to make my home safer during a hurricane, and to reduce my insurance premium.
We agreed on moving forward with the project. On 12/10/2014, I paid All Floridian check# 517 in the amount of $2,200.00; the 50% due to commence the work on the project.
On 1/7/2015 when the work was completed I agreed to pay All Floridian the final payment (check# 100); I was concerned as I didn’t have the Wind Mitigation Inspection report, but Anthony assured me by stating “he will take care of me” and that I would be receiving the inspection report.
On 12/14/14 and again on 3/3/2015 Anthony (at his request) was sent via email, the necessary form needed to be completed by the inspector. I have contacted Anthony dozens of times by text, email and by telephone, and despite my attempts in resolving the missing inspection report, no progress has been made in providing me the report. At this moment, I am paying roughly $460.00 a month more than I should be paying for insurance considering the project has been completed in January 2015

It been a few months as I forgot to update this report. I was reimbursed the funds that were paid to have an independent inspection for the wind mitigation report.

Today, Anthony at All Floridian has reimbursed me for the cost of me obtaining the Wind Mitigation report.

This contractor was subcontracted to install my impact windows and doors. During that time, I hired them directly to complete other projects within my home. This complaint was to let other consumers know that this company never did comply with the promise to supply a wind mitigation report to submit to my insurance.
IN SHORT... the installation on my impact windows and doors is still not complete. I found out directly from the manufacturer that this contractor lied to me. I should've been supplied all matching door handles. But I was told that only the cabana door was to have the "special handle" due to it being a special door, and that we needed to go out and purchase door handles elsewhere. Lies!!!!! So with 3 doors in my backyard, 2 will have different door handles. -Not happy!
In my contract with the General Contractor, it states that a permit was to be obtained, and when I spoke with the GC, he said that All Floridian would be handling this. Anthony showed up at my home to pick up all the "signed" documents needed to obtain the permits BUT... he threatened me and said that he will only apply for my permit if I remove this post from the ripoff report and my BBB complaint.
Anthony Debolt who is the president/owner of this company is unethical and a bully! Consumers should think twice before doing any type of business with this company. I will not tolerate being bullied by a hot headed unethical business owner.
