In regard to the Chinese scooters you speak so badly about, yes there are bad chinese scooters and bikes ot there and you have to be careful with where you get them, but I have a chinese electric scooter which I find to be trouble free and I've had it for 2 years. I much prefer the electric due to the maintenance factors against a gas moped or bike.
So my point is that it simply is not true that all chinese scooters are trouble.
Sorry to hear about your dealer not being careful about who he buys from, but some of these guys out there don't care about quality and will be interested in what it costs them without considering the customer.

what the customer does not mention is a) his father took the catalytic out of the exhaust, to try to make it faster;which in turn blew the engine; which in turn i replaced at no charge to customer. b)the customer whose muffler fell off(the son) neglected to tell you that he replaced a rear tire on the bike, and was done incorrectly, resulting in loss of exhaust and cracked rear support, this was after his warranty was voided, so he was charged for repair.the son did not follow proper maintenance program, and basically took poor care of the bike. his wife's bike had carburetion issues, which were covered under warranty.i have sold many of the bikes the gentleman and his father purchased, and all followed basic maintenance and repair, and there have been no problems with those bikes!!
