Allconnect scam!

WE transferred our electric service with Progress Energy when we moved. Progress Energy was terrific and made things simple. BUT, at the end of the phone call we were transferred to Allconnect to help us set up other utilities/services like Internet and TV.

We were offered a bundle for internet with Centurylink and up to 3 TV's satellite with Direct TV for $59.95 per month. I thought that was a terrific deal and I said Sign us up! They ran our credit, and all the while I kept making sure "it's only 59.95 a month (plus tax)  right?" "Only $59.95 for internet and TV?"  they assured me 10x that I had heard correctly.

They signed us up. Now we find out that our Century link alone is 59.95 and a they added a 20 discount to make it 39.95.

Direct TV is 81 !!! per month with a discount rebate of 30 dollars to make it 51!!! per month. they also add for every tv over one, and didnt give us a DVR recorder.

WHERE IS THE 59.95 total THAT ALLCONNECT QUOTED US? only they know for sure. I called them over and over and they say they will listen to the phone calls of our order and file an escalation and get back to us.

Do not do business with Allconnect, they baited us into saying yes with the $59.95 lie, then switched us to a much more expensive deal. They even had the nerve to tell us when we called in to question them that we weren't BUNDLED!!!!  WHAT A RIP OFF!

Progress Energy will do well to get rid of these rip off artist scammers.

"We hope that your recent conversation with our escalation agent helped to clarify the situation"

are you kidding? I did speak with an escalation agent, who DID NOT clarify anything. She said that they listened to the call, and that I was right, their agent DID offer me a directtv and centurylink internet bundle at $59.95. They said they were sorry and that their agent would be disciplined.

How about righting the wrong and harm done to us?

The agent offered to reimburse us ONE TIME the difference between what they offered and what they actually signed us up for. like 60 dollars or something? What?
She also said it's not too late to disconnect my internet, and that she wasn't sure I could get out of the directtv agreement.

I will calculate the damage that this will do to us for the next 2 years, then ask allconnect to pay the difference between what we are actually getting charged and what they promised.

In addition, Dear allconnect escalation agent, please email me what you said you would. You said you would email the details of your offer. I have a feeling you are reluctant to email an admission of guilt, for fear that I may sue you or re-publish your reply.

Stay tuned!
