I am copying a report I found another user wrote online, sums up the issues perfectly:
m starting to wonder if Google Product Search is something we should be avoiding. From time to time, I like to use it to see what kind of deals are going on. I was looking up prices for the 160 GB PS3 (Drake's Fortune bundle) and was shocked to find one listed for $365.25. I navigated to the AllDigitalPro.com site and discovered they also had the 40GB model listed for $183. I have seen some great legitimate deals in my time, but something seemed a bit fishy about the site. With a little research, I discovered the following:
A quick WHOIS search shows me that site is registered to Kingston Smith in Los Angeles, yet AllDigitalPro.com claims to be a company out of Appleton, Wisconson. Kingston Smith ([email protected]) owns more than 150 various domains, most of which were created in 2009. I also had a friend look the company name up in the Appleton phone book, but it doesn't exist, yet they have been at the forefront of the digital imaging revolution since it first exploded onto the scene in the 1990s according to their about statement. For some strange reason, they were never on the web until about a month ago. Their mailing address is listed as 4625 W College Ave, Appleton, WI, 54914,USA which just happens to be the exact same address connected to digitalsect.com, a site that is no longer live, yet was offering really good deals in the recent past. For the purpose of research, I created a shopping cart on their site using a fake email address of mine. When you try to purchase something, you end up receiving an email requesting you send a Western Union money order to some character in Italy. Can this really get any more absurd? I really hope no one out there has fallen for this scam, but I'd be willing to bet many have.
I think it's safe to say that this is yet another scam site. I'm not sure why the government hasn't gone after this Kingston Smith character, but I doubt he even exists. Whoever is pulling this scam needs to come up with a better fake name and maybe think about using a different address with their scams. It's real easy to find out about anything with a quick Google search these days.
