Have you heard of too good to be true?Believe me that's what Allegiant Air is all about.
If you read the fine print in their terms and conditions they say you have 24 hours to cancel your flight and get a refund. What airlines only gives you 24 hours to get a full refund. I tried to call them, and the voice message says, " We are experiencing heavy calls call back later." What kind of airline will not answer the phone. Do you think its because of all the complaints they get?
Absolutely it is.I emailed them several times each and finally after listening to music for 1 and 1/2 hours on the phone I finally got one of the most unprofessional people that I have ever talked to. This airline is a joke. They are also having all kinds of problems with their maintenance. They have had to cancel flights out of St Petersburg and twice this month they had to return to the airport after *** because of air pressure problems.
Not only are they a rip off they are also not safe. I will walk to my next destination before I will ever use them. Run, walk, drive, or take a hot air balloon before using this airline.

You can say what you want. It does not matter what other airlines are doing. What you should be consentrating on is providing better service to your customer and making Allegiant Air a better airline. Instead you just want to take peoples money and screw them out of it. As for Delta, I purchased a ticket and then I had to cancel it 4 weeks later and they refunded all my money. The facts remain the same. Allegiant is still providing terrible service, unsafe planes and ripping people off. This is not just me saying this. There are hundreds of other complaints on Allegiant in various internet sites.
I will be very suprised if Allegiant is still in business in the next 12 months

- Unless you purchase a "full fare" ticket, 24 hours is actually about standard. Some other airlines that have the 24 Hour refund period include:
Del*a, Unit*d, Amer*can Ai*lines, Alas*a
And if you want to go International...
Brit*sh Airw*ys, A*r Fr*nce
And that is not an all inclusive list there are many others that have the same rule. There are also several airlines that do not have any sort of "cancellation" period, in other words the moment you purchase the ticket that is it. But even ones that do, this generally only applies when you purchase your ticket directly from the airline. If you purchase them from a 3rd party site, you may or may not be given this same time.
