Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

We started getting these calls about a week ago.  They just keep coming and coming.  They usually start around 6:30 a.m.

We don't have any outstanding bills, we have excellent credit, so don't understand why we have been chosen to be harassed by these people.

This is a third party scum bag debt collection agency - go to www.budhibbs.com and read about these losers.

Like Steve said - Never EVER talk to these people on the phone! If you receive a letter (like Bud says) DISPUTE IT!

Good luck and fight back

..when they call?.

Do they already have any of your personal information like your SS number, where you work etc?

If they do...they usually get this info from an online application for a payday/advance loan. They do not hack this info..they get it from scam site loan applications, or buy it from a scam site that you submitted it to.

I would also watch the account..sometimes there are hidden fees when someone applies online..the consumer thinks they are just applying for free to see if they get approved, but they are victims of a "phishing" scam..and often have unknowingly authorized the scam site to charge the account. The charges are typically in a different name then the scam site..and may go unnoticed or the victim does not know who charged the account.

They have all the info has a standard loan app would ask..SS number, place of employment, salary, your references info, DOB, addresses, phone numbers etc..heck enough info to scare the crap out of anyone.

Next time they call, ask them to send any documentation that you owe anyone anything..and that you KNOW this is a scam and are reporting it to the FBI...then hang up.

Identity Theft Warning

#4Consumer Comment

It is against the law to make ANY business calls before 8:00 a.m. YOUR TIME.  Whatever time zone you're in, is the time businesses must go by to start business calls of any type, and they're legally not allowed until 8:00 a.m. unless you've instructed them otherwise.  My first thought is that this is a scam/fraudulent company and they are calling to try and get your account information for identity theft purposes.   You should talk to the phone company about getting these calls traced, and possibly prosecuting these people!!!!!!!!!!

Don't change your #, just do this, then get paid!

There is a simple solution here to stop the calls, or to get paid for the hassle.

Under the provisions of FEDERAL LAW you have the right to send a CEASE COMMUNICATIONS request to any THIRD PARTY debt collector. The FDCPA explains those rights.

Just send a CEASE COMMUNICATIONS request to these punks via CERTIFIED MAIL / RETURN RECIEPT REQUESTED. Be sure to put the certified# somewhere on the letter itself, and keep a copy of that letter for your records. Doing it this way, you have proof of exactly what you sent.

Now, wait for the little green card to come back to you. After they sign this card, and you can prove that they got your LEGAL REQUEST to CEASE COMMUNICATIONS, they cannot contact you anymore except to verify reciept of said letter, or to serve legal process on you.

If they violate the law by contacting you further, you can sue them for up to $1000 in statutory damages, plus costs.

It makes no difference if the debt is yours or not.

Make them pay!

Change your #

The solution is change your # and have it unlisted . Request that no further imformation be given on the new # or if you have call block or reject on your phone use it . All you need to do is dial a few #s infront of thier # and it blocks them from calling you
