Complaint Review: Allied Medical Supply Inc. (Miami FL/Weaverville NC) - Weaverville North Carolina

Well let me start off by saying that I have been in the pharmaceutical industry for over ten years. I was brought in from a recruiter to build the pharmaceutical department (which there was none), this was opposite of their other end of the business which is blood derivative items. Immediately, I knew things would not work out because the owner Anthony Minnuto is a hateful person. The previous manager, who build the business for him was let go. He spoke of her in a rude and disrespectful manner.

After a month, I found alot out about Allied Medical Supply, Inc. and how they conduct business. This company is a fraud and price gauger's customers. Everyone has an alias name and the purchasing agent Mark Smith aka Jay purchases items at a high price, regardless he will buy product high because they turn around and sell it at 200% mark up. Mark Smith has tattoos all over his body and is outwardly into the same sex. I am not against anyone and their sexuality, but when someone is sending you black p***s's all day long, after you told them numerous times to stop, something is completely wrong and the work environment becomes hostile.

Besides the numerous sexual emails and instant messages all day long from Mark Smith, I considered this to be the one of the many reasons this company needs to be investigated. Allied Medical Supply, Inc. is being sued by a company called Reliance, which I hear is a great company to work for and they do not price gauge. Allied Medical Supply Inc. claims to be a wholesaler but they buy products at a high price which takes weeks to get in and then they overcharge the customer. I was our sick for three days and on that third day I faxed in a sick note that stated I would out. Immediately I got an email saying I was discharged. I was let go because I was a liability. Furthermore, they refused to give back my property that I brought over from the companies I have worked for years at, great publicly held companies I may add.

I was recently contacted by a few ex coworkers and we discussed the numerous issues and this hostile environment. Anthony Minnuto, the owner, Mark Smith aka Jay, the purchaser and Rachel Torres were mean and vicious to me. One day I went to the bathroom, the receptionist came in and turned on the light, then Rachel Torres went into my office while I was in the bathroom and hide my cell phone in the ceiling. When I came back from the bathroom, my cell phone was no where to be found but kept ringing. It was in the ceiling. Rachel laughing hysterically came in with Anthony Minnuto, the owner who also started to laugh. They spend an hour trying to find my cell phone in the ceiling. I went home that day in tears.

I endured sexual, explicit, graphic images, racists remarks, and was not paid for hours I work. I have worked for large corporations and I would never talk bad about any company but this is not a normal company, yet a unhealthy environment. The state of Florida has been in because of complaints and anyone to deal with this company both internal and external, please beware.

Besides stealing my private client list and information, this company has not paid me for hours worked. I worked there 6 months and was never bad PTO time, even though it was due, instead Anthony Minnuto would dock pay, as I have heard he has done this with alot of employees.

Anthony Minnuto is an ex real estate agent that goes around giving speeches, well how can this person go around telling anyone how to run a business if he is corrupt and is the problem of his own demise.
