Allstate Insurance takes your money then doesn't cover you abused & mistreated by the ripoff business from hell Franklin Tennessee
We have had Allstate insure everything, 2 homes 3 cars for over 9 years. Never in our life had we made a claim for anything.
Our premiums with everything averaged about 488.00 per month. This was our largest bill behind our mortgage and one car payment. When we bought our second house, we immediately called our rep, Bill and advised him of the new situation and that we wanted landlords insurance on the old house since we renting it out. No problem he says.
Our premium went up like they said so we had no thought that it was never done. We had the renters from hell for 2 years and after they were evicted we called to make a claim. When the adjuster came out he said our house was crap and that we could not file a claim since it was not landlords insurance. It was never done.
Keep in mind, that Allstate had insured this house for 9 years. Based on our math that totals about $8,100.00 over the course of the period. Just for that property. They didn't think the house was crap then! We were treated like crap and although we never received a formal denial, calls were not returned.
Shortly there after, we got the letter that the house was being dropped. Their commercials kill me. It scares me to think that if my house would have burned down, what they would have said. Would they say it was a mess?
We have since moved our properties to another company and plan to do so with our cars. Allstate should be shut down for taking peoples money and not covering them for what they pay for.

This claim is not Allstates problem based on the type of claim filed for the type of policy. If you want to recoup on this claim go after your agent. All agents carry E&O, "Error and omissions" insurance. It is your agents fault this was not covered not Allstates. As an insurance professional it is his or her responsibility to fulfill your request.
