Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I saw a side bar advertisement for an antiaging cream free sample ($5.95) and thought to try it out and when asked if I wanted a eye wrinkle cream also that I could pay shipping for that too ($4.95) on 11/13/17. Within a week + or so I got my free samples. Haven't tried it yet.

On my Discover card I found that I was charged $85.95 two times, from two different companies. I called to Allura at 1-877-265-0572 and talked to "Anthony"on 12/5/17 @ 8:15 am EST to find out why I had this charge. He said that when I accepted the free sample, I had 14 days to cancel or otherwise the company would charge me full price and continue to send me more on a monthly basis. I asked to cancel this and he kept hedging about giving me a discounted rate. (I later found on Amazon that it sells for 1/2 the charged price.) I did get him to understand that I didn't accept this and got a confimation number C234422 to eliminate any future billings.

On the second Discover card charge for Allusiv, I called 1-877-669-8449 and talked to "Wendy" and asked why I was charged for full price subscription based on a trial sample. She also said that I had to cancel within 14 days and that my account was already cancelled by "Anthony". When I queried as to why she knew that if I was calling about Allusiv and not Allura, she said that her product was Allura. So I asked her why I was double billed to Allura, she said that she could see Allusiv but couldn't do anything about it. She only handled Allura.

So I was in a quandry about two different billings with two different phone numbers and incomplete address being held by one company.  It took a while before I could get Wendy to give me the phone number to Allusiv at 1-888-736-4835. I called that number at 8:22 am EST and talked to "Oscar" who also tried to deduct the monthly price before cancelling with a confirmation # C234913.

At no where did I recognize any place where it said that I had to call to delete full payment and continuing subscription.  The way that the company did, to mask their phone numbers, addresses and do business, suggests a unethical practice.
