Aloha Orchid Nursery ripoff, Hawaiian orchid stonewall, dead gift plants but no response from company, don't answer email or phone calls Pahoa Hawaii
I spent $300 to treat my friends and family to blooming orchid plants directly from Hawaii as Christmas gifts. The site is full of explanations about how carefully they ship their plants, what a fine reputation they have, and how they stand by their products.
Plants arrived just before Christmas, as promised, but were severely damaged/killed by the cold. Aloha Orchid will not so much as answer my (numerous) emails. I called them (on their NOT toll free number) and got the run around with a vague promise to get back to me. No one has called. They are ignoring me.
Apparently they are very happy to take your money, but if there is a problem, you're on your own. What a lousy way to treat someone who has spent a lot of money with them trying to send lovely gifts to loved ones.
Although living plants are involved in this purchase, I feel that businesses who advertise (Google) for holiday business must expect some damaged shipments like any other product, and owe it to their customers to find a solution when there is a problem.
Shame on them for their selfish, money-grubbing, customer unfriendly attitude.
I am outraged.
