A few weeks ago I received a bill in the mail from Alyon Technologies for $47.32; I thought that there must be some mistake. The statement said that it was a bill for accessing a porno site. I checked with the family and found that my son had been surfing the web a few days earlier. He must have hit a wrong key on a popup because a few minutes later he noticed, at the bottom of the screen, a foreign program was running in the background.

He disconnected. Later, when we went to the computer to check e-mail, porno popups came on the screen and we could see that something in the computer was trying to dial out on its own. After disconnecting, we found that a porno site had put a dialer virus in our computer. It took a lot of time to find the virus program and delete it.

I ignored the bill. Weeks later I received a bill from a collection agency. I started to take this thing seriously. I checked The Rip-Off Report and found complaints from hundreds of outraged "customers" of Alyon. I found that this company prays on young people. Alyon has popups on teen oriented websites. If the young surfers hit a wrong key, the dailer virus installs and runs in the background running up big bills. I was glad to find advice on how to handle this (cencored) on the Rip-Off Report.

I have sent complaints to my states Attorney General, the FTC, the IFCCFBI, and the FCC. I hope that with my complaints and the complaints from hundreds of others, that we can get (cencored) companies like Alyon Technologies shut down.
