After my computer started behaving peculiarly, I found the following software installed C:\Program Files\RapidBlaster\rb32.exe C:\Windows\Egroup (folder) C:\Windows\iedisco.exe RapidBlaster is a spyware program running in memory which is responsible for unsolicited porno website pop-up windows. I removed this program by running Windows Add/Remove utility, canceling the process using task manager, turning the read only attributes off and deleting the file. The Egroup folder contains lots of files and directories that support the iedisco dialer (minidialer) application. Delete this folder. iedisco is a dialer program designed to connect the unwary user to a long distance number. This allows a pay-per-view connection. Uninstall this program. Ive also tried SpyBot http://spybot.safer-networking.de/ This detects and removes spyware. PCWorld.com has a list of software for blocking pop-up windows http://www.pcworld.com/downloads/file_description/0,fid,22262,00.asp
