AM Assoc. Press a young man going door to door selling magazines claiming it was for a gov. bond for school Orlando Florida
I forget the name of the young man who came to the door claiming to be selling magazines for a school related gov. bond or some such. But when I called the number provided for comformation (407)-850-0590, and got an answering message thanking me for "supporting what the kids were trying to do" I recieved a call back from a "Mr. Stevens" @ a (561) 239-2315 assuring me that everything was ok. The thing gave me that sinking feeling, was that he identified himself as "Mr. Stevens" much the same way I sounded when I would call the school nurse trying to cut school back in the day.
When I did this web search I knew I had been suckerd when i wrote that $45 check on 2/19/08. I noticed that the check cleared on 2/26/08 and decided to write this in hopes of exposing the bold scammers.
The misc bussiness licence for Free X Press that the reciept is written on is issued to one Harvey, Jason @ (866)-350-2560
