Amara Hernandez sold me a 6 month old yorkshire terrier. She repeatedly stalled from sending the puppy. When it did eventually arrive it was obviously a different dog. The pictures she sent me had white on the face at the roots(an indication of an older puppy). The puppy she sent was completely black and tan on the face and had it's ears taped together. It was a very much YOUNGER puppy.
I immediately let her know this was not the puppy I had bought. I paid for an emergency consulatation with a vet to exam her and he said there was no way she was the age on the paperwork. I called her vet that she used to examine the puppy and he stated he had his doubts too but went by her word. I had the puppy examed by a breeder who just shook her head and couldn't believe that anyone would think this was an older puppy, it was that obvious. It had no adult teeth coming in and hadn't even got all it's puppy teeth(let alone not matching the picture she sent).
Amara immediately agreed to take the puppy back and refund my money. Obviously since this was a younger puppy and not the one I paid for the paperwork was fraulent also. She agreed to refund my money on or by June 8 2007. I paid $3,000 plus $250 shipping. To this date I have only received $1500 and now she says she doesn't have the funds. She should, she has my money. She's also stating that her father is in the hospital so she hasn't had time to relist the puppy(but yet she's updated her site repeatedly and sold a few since then, I guess that she has time for..in face she updated her site on June 8). She's once again stalling and lying. Common practice for her in my opinion. She now has the puppy she tried to pass off as older and more than half of the money I paid. I have documentation, e-mails and pictures to back up my claims.

I found out this week that she did the same thing to another buyer. She actually sold us both the SAME puppy(she sent us both the exact same picture and took the exact same amount of money from us, over $3,000) and neither of us received the puppy we paid for. It's very sad, please do not buy from this unethical breeder. I feel sorry for the dogs she is selling, it's not their fault. She's also falsifying registration papers. I had to take matters into my own hands to get my money refunded(didn't quite get it all) but the other buyer is having a hard time getting her money back. Please stay far away from this breeder and save yourself some heartbreak.
