This is the Vice President of American Credit and have personally investigated the individuals claims. It is unfortunate that this person has made such a false accusation about our firm.
So here is the facts in this regard. American Credit is a 501 C 3 non profit organization that specializes in a pre-litigation process where we threaten creditors with legal action unless they can prove that they followed all the laws outlined in the FCRA. If they cannot, the end result is permanant deletions of negative information on the credit report.
The individual that is complaining about his credit score not going up is telling the truth about that. What he forgot to mention is that we actually delted 12 of the 18 items reporting on his credit profile. What the client also forgot to mention is that we told him that he only had negative information on his credit profile and unless he procured 2 secured credit cards and use them properly every month he will not see a credit score increase at all. The client never got the cards and still has not. We offered to continue working with him if he would do this. He has not responded.
Our money back gaurantee states
If the Applicant is not satisfied after six (6) months or three (3) pre-litigationcycles (whichever occurs first) then he/she may receive a refund of money paid. There will be a $225.00 processing fee deducted from money paid and $150.00 deducted for each account removed or corrected per credit reporting agency during the time they were involved in the credit repair process.
The individual paid $1,000 so after you deduct $225.oo and multiply $150 x 12 items delted it = $1,800.00 // There was no money to refund. If the client has procured the Secured Credit Cards we instructed them to get and used them properly, they would have easily seen at least a 100+ point increase.
It is sad that this individual could not follow basic instructions or see that we actually did a great job for them. American Credit has been in business going on 9 year and work with mortgage companies all over teh country including FDIC insured banks. They refer us clients that have credit issues and would like to be approved for a home loan.
I would be glad to show anyone the before and after credit report of this individual wihthout devulging their name or personal information including the notes telling them what to do if they were to expect a score increase. When you have nothing but negative credit , deleting the information is not enough. You need to re-establish.
I hope this information will help clear up any misconception this paticular valued client may have at this time. I welcome this client to contact us anytime to resolve this matter as we would love to continue working with them so long as they are able to follow our instructions and not deviate.
Thank you
Larry Carnahan
